    We booked for 7 nights but only stayed for 5 due to the loud and inconsiderate guests holding parties at 1am and 2am outside our ground floor bedroom and waking us up. The hotel security was inconspicuous by its absence. The guests ignored the No Smoking areas making our outside space unusable.The room was badly in need of renovation and the bed was soft and uncomfortable. On the plus side the location is good - next to beaches, shops and restaurants.

    Great Base to Explore the South Coast

    This is a great, affordable place to explore the South coast of Barbados. Buses stop almost in front to both the eastern direction to the airport and westbound to Bridgetown. You can also use the latter to stop earlier at the Garrison and the museums. There is a supermarket in walking distance, as are various smaller beaches and pubs. The only minor point is that the desk is not always manned, but never for long. The personnel is friendly. It is somewhat outdated, but not in any way that it hinders a pleasant stay.

    I travel every year with a group of students (all boys by the way) and this was our first time staying here and I will definitely be coming back. The hotel is budget friendly, the rooms were very clean, spacious and if you plan on cooking it had all the amenities from spatulas, cutting boards, pans, pots, , baking dishes even a cheese grater and can opener. There is house keeping daily and they did a great job. AC worked well. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. We arrived before the standard check in time, due to our flight, and we were able to check into the room once they were ready at no extra cost (thanks!). Beautiful tranquil grounds, with a clean small pool and restaurant. This hotel is ideally located under 5 minutes walking you are close to a supermarket (Massy Stores), Gas station, Pizza parlour (Lil Ceasars), bars, restaurants , duty free shopping (Bridgetown duty free, formally known as Cave Sheppard and even an ATM (First Citizens bank). The only issue we encountered was that on the upper floors the hot water takes long to get going when time for a shower, but if you let it run for about 5-10 mins, it will come. I will like to thank and big up the hotel manager Ms. Maynard who took the time and had patience in answering every one of my back and forth emails and who sealed the deal in my decision to stay here. If you are looking for somewhere comfortable, safe, conveniently located and adequate for an average visitor and group, this is the place to be! Thanks palm garden and hope to see you all next year.

    Simply the best!! The hospitality is second to none here. BEST fishcakes on the island! I LOVE Palm Gardens and the team there - can’t wait to visit again and again!! I visited on my own and felt safe and like I was amongst friends. Slept amazing and perfect recharge!!

    This has been an amazing stay comfortable, friendly and felt so safe for myself and my son. We loved how small and intimate it was. Lovely bar and food it's been the best time of our vacation spent at this humble little place the staff are gracious and friendly. We have loved it and hope to return one day
