Location

The resort is located on the west coast of Barbados, also known as the island's gold coast. It is 20 minutes from the capital of Bridgetown and 30 minutes from Grantley Adams International Airport.

Facility

The holiday village has a lift and features 161 rooms and 25 suites. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A baggage storage service and a safe are available. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The complex has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for no extra charge. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a car hire service, medical assistance, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus.

Rooms

Air conditioning and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed or a king-size bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A hairdryer and bathrobes are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. Cosmetic products and a selection of towels provide additional comfort in the bathrooms. The complex has non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

No matter the wather, guests can always find refreshment in one of the 3 indoor and outdoor pools. A hot tub invites guests to soothe their muscles, and a poolside snack bar will take care of any hungry bellies. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. A variety of activities such as tennis, fishing and horse riding or, for a fee, golf, are offered at the complex. With water skiing, windsurfing, paddle boating, banana boat rides, canoeing, sailing, catamaraning, kayaking, snorkelling and diving available, fans of water sports will have plenty to choose from. The holiday village offers numerous indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, billiards, darts and yoga or, for a fee, aerobics. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a beauty salon and a solarium. Subject to charge: massage treatments. Meals

Various dining options are available, including a restaurant, a café and a bar. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. All-inclusive is offered as a catering option. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. For lunch and dinner, guests can order à la carte. The complex also offers snacks.     Fantastic location & we were well looked after. I was a little sceptical before we arrived having read some other reviews but the following is based on our experience as seasoned travellers.Just returned from 2 weeks lovely holiday. We have stayed in Holetown a few times before but not this hotel, so did not feel the need to tour the island but the location of The Club was ideal to walk into Holetown and the various shops, bars and restaurants that are there. It was also right on the main bus route to Bridgetown or Speightstown.Our room (loft / sea view) was spacious quiet and comfortable (not for anyone with mobility issues however - 3rd floor, no lift) and was cleaned daily with fantastic sea aspect - have never slept as close to the ocean before!Food and drinks at the hotel were very good with a choice of evening dining at pre-booked time in either the main restaurant (alternates between à la carte and buffet) or Enid’s - first floor via steps, always à la carte and certainly worth trying. All with friendly servers.Only complaint would be that the chairs could do with some “leg shoes” (x4 each) as the noise from them being moved at 3 sittings per day does tend to irritate.We also took part in the excellent water sports which are included (hobbycat / snorkelling / kayaking / stand-up paddle boarding) which were great.Spa is also well worth a visit for a relaxing massage.

    We had a great time at the Club, the only downside was the buffet food was not alway hot, the chairs in the restaurant will drive you crazy when they are dragged along the floor. Water sports are great however a couple of the water sport staff weren’t very approachable, and borderline unfriendly the only one we found extremely helpful and accommodating was Bryan.

    I’m going to start with the one negative thing I have to say. While here, I accidentally left my sunglasses and hat at the pool. I was told by a guest that a staff member picked them up. I checked all around the resort but nothing turned up. I am very disappointed to have lost my belongings and concerned by the fact it was a staff member who found them yet they were not returned to me.One other note - there were ants in our room. Not too bothersome but if you are scared of them maybe don’t come here. Not sure if it’s only some buildings or all. Otherwise our room was kept very clean, balcony included.I overall had a phenomenal time here. I would like to mention Sophia, Kareene, Darius, and Guye the bartenders. They are so kind and good at their jobs! We enjoyed the sunset restaurant and Enids, good food and great staff. Shoutout to Dave and Mikey they were so kind and quick to help. Went to the food truck most days for lunch and the food was great and the woman working was really nice.I read reviews saying the towels are thin and old, I did not find this to be the case. You get typical white shower towels as well as blue pool/beach towels in your room. You can exchange the blue ones at water sports. All the towels did their jobs!Gorgeous pools and relatively easy to get chairs. Nice warm but refreshing water. Highly recommend water aerobics with Rohan!Beautiful Sandy Lane beach down to the left. Gorgeous turquoise water, calm enough to swim and float. Enough shade from trees for those who want it! You can also swim and snorkel right out in front of the hotel. It’s rocky and we saw a ton of fish. A little rougher there so be careful because of the rocks!!

    Second stay at this resort - this time as a solo traveller. Very enjoyable experience - such a friendly place, good location, decent food, three beautiful pools and the lovely Sandy Lane beach a minute or two's stroll away. All the staff are amazing. My ocean view loft room was very peaceful and worth all the stairs to get there! Would definitely stay here again on another trip to Barbados.

PERFECT PERFECT !!So good I have booked 3 rooms to go again 😎 From the Amazing Management to the staff in restaurants and pool and security team 100*+Love the place and the people so after going to the island for over 25years I feel right at home now in this hotel.Soooo looking forward to seeing you guys again soon xx
