This hotel is located across the street from the famous Dover Beach in the area of St. Lawrence, in the parish of Christ Church on the south coast of Barbados.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 6 suites and 70 double rooms. Guests are warmly welcomed by English-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a car hire service, medical assistance and a laundry service.

Rooms

Rooms feature a living area and a bathroom, and air conditioning ensures just the right temperature. A balcony is among the standard amenities of some rooms. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe provides secure storage for guests' personal property. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a hairdryer. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The resort has non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

The outdoor pool complex provides invigorating refreshment. Parasols and comfortable sun loungers are available on the sun terrace. There is a poolside snack bar as well. Those who wish to stay active while on holiday can enjoy on-site beach volleyball. For a fee, golf is also available. A wellness area with a solarium is available at the resort. Additional leisure activities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club and a casino.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a dining room, a breakfast room, a café and a bar. Guests can indulge their palates at the non-smoking restaurant, which features air conditioning and a separate area for smokers. Breakfast gives guests plenty of delicious reasons to get out of bed in the morning. Lunch (à la carte and a set menu) and dinner (à la carte) offer plenty of variety. Special meals, including diet meals, are also available. The resort also offers special catering options.

    Boring place and bed bugs were a serious problem in the room. Hotel Manager, General Manager at Time Out Hotel, responded to this review Dear Voyager84505,Following a thorough investigation into your concerns, we would like to clarify that after you reported possible bed bug bites, we immediately engaged an internationally recognized pest control company to inspect and treat the room. Their findings confirmed that no evidence of bed bugs was found. As an additional precaution, the room you were relocated to was also professionally inspected and treated after your departure, and once again, no evidence of bed bugs was identified.While bed bugs can unfortunately be introduced into any property through travel and luggage, it is also important to note that bites or skin irritations can occur in a variety of environments outside of a hotel setting and may not always be directly linked to a guest room/hotel. Nevertheless, our housekeeping and management teams are trained to identify and address any concerns immediately, and we remain committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest comfort at all times.We are pleased that once you brought your concerns to our attention, our team was able to respond promptly and provide an alternative accommodation solution so that the remainder of your stay could be more comfortable.We are also sorry to hear that you found the atmosphere unexciting, as we strive to create a relaxing and enjoyable environment for all of our guests.     We had an excellent stay at Time Out Hotel. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.We stayed in room 214 on the first floor. The room was excellent with great facilities. We were very impressed with the bathroom. The only thing we didn’t have, but this was quickly provided, was a hair dryer.All the cleaners were excellent but we would like to give a special shout out to Sabrina - so friendly!     Stayed at this hotel March 2026. Great location, basic but good accommodation. Cleaning staff NOT to be trusted with your precious belongings. I had my Pandora bracelet taken from the safe, it was gifted by my children and had years of precious and sentimental charms.     I stay at this hotel every other year myself and my 4 grandchildren we love it, the staff are very friendly and fantastic with children the rooms are cleaned daily the food is very good and the location is just right in the middle of restaurants and beach just accross the road. I will be returning back at Time Out july 2026 i cant wait but no childten this time. I love this hotel and staff.

    We have just returned from a memorable visit to beautiful Barbados and we stayed at the Time Out hotel. The hotel was perfect for our budget and the location was excellent for our needs. Staff around the hotel were universally friendly, our room was simple, spacious fresh and airy, it had a very useful fridge and daily housekeeping was provided. We loved being so close to the sea and the balcony view of the Dover sports grounds was fun. We were impressed by the unexpected provision of fresh beach towels daily, the convenient water refill station and a communal microwave. We did not use the poolside area during the day, preferring Dover beach itself and exploring the island but it seemed very popular. We were welcomed by kind and efficient reception staff and a bottle of bubbly and a Happy Anniversary card on arrival in our room were thoughtful touches. Tips: For a special treat don’t hesitate to book a fabulous massage with Blank Canvas during your stay. Kieshelle was amazing. Do pack ear plugs - St Lawrence Gap is lively at night (and early morning with the local cockerels making their presence heard!) so if you need a good nights sleep, go prepared! As it was a special occasion we upgraded our room. This was a good decision for us.
