    Not a bad place from the outside all facilities you need for a visit but mouldy net curtains and a smelly shower. Bar staff were brilliant, though. Just needs a bit of TLC and updating of the rooms such as cleaning of the bathrooms and ironing boards in the room

    Second stat at this hotel with Comfortable beds. Local and quite sensible food. Wifi worked ok. Welcoming hotel staff.Good access to road network, with car parking. (Frozen puddles of surface water in cold weather).Popular with business people.

    The hotel is located south-east region of Antwerp, on the motorway at about 30 minutes of drive (but it could take more than an hour in case of traffic). It is a Best Western Plus with many rooms and clearly business oriented. Rooms are quite old, and cleanliness is not top-notch. Because of the old walls, the smell in corridors and connecting walks is not always so pleasant. However, the staff is very gentle and friendly. The offer at the breakfast is generous and varied. Forget the coffee though. They serve hot instant coffee. The restaurant is ok. And they have also a nice bar, where one can get something to drink and something quick to eat. From my point of view, overall it's a little less than average and scores 2.66 out of 5.

    No complaints about the room, in fact they are quite nice. well appointed and clean. Had dinner in the "Orangerie" and decided to choose a "traditional" Flemish Vol au Vent aka Chicken Fricasee with salad and fries. It tasted like cream of chicken from a can poured over a biscuit. Was salty, pasty, chewy chicken, and some little balls of something that i couldnt tell. Simply really bad. I ate about 1/3rd and was done. I asked for ketchup an mayo for the fries and got 1 packet each. I told the waiter(s) that it wasnt good and one waiter had the gall to tell me I was the FIRST EVER to say such a thing. Then when i received the bill i saw there was a 1 eu charge each for the ketchup and mayo. SERIOUSLY?? They did nothing to adjust the meal and assured me it was standard practice to charge. ( they were going to remove the ketchup and mayo but one of the waiters was so adamant about my taste and the charge I told him, no.. keep it on. For sure i will not eat here again and I can only hope that the included breakfast will be ok. again. rooms are fine, but the food, an insult to the chicken who made up the dish. To the chef.. go on line and look at some pictures and tell me that it resembles what you served.

    Sound proofing quality is very low you can hear the door slamming and the noise of the guests, request are always denied. Example extra key card for the children room extra key card does not cost anything and will be returned during check out cant see any reason why they are not able to provide one, hair dryer is broken cant provide any extra so if it is winter you have to go out with a wet hair, no hotel slippers, not complimentary bottled water employee are under pressure and not enough . We have been to Best Western in Menton, Bologna, Paris, Padova, Milan and Nice service is great and how they handle their guests is really over satisfying and you will feel comfortable.
