Overall a very nice hotel

Overall a very nice stay. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff and service are also very good. Great location right across from the train station. About a 15 minute walk to the old town. Our only complaint was the breakfast wasnt very good . There were bugs flying around the food quite frequently. They need to cover the food and refill more frequently. Good base if you need to be close to the station

We stayed here for 2 nights. The reception staff were very helpful and we were swiftly moved to our upgraded twin when the twin room we requested turned out to be a double. The rooms were adequate, a bit tired but suited our purposes with big shower room. The breakfast was plentiful and adequate.The best part of this hotel was the location - if you need somewhere close to the Central Station you really can't find closer! We weren't expecting great things from a hotel in very close proximity to the station, but convenience was a priority for us. Take a good look at the promotional photo of the yellow sofa and designer rug, then compare with the filthy uncared-for reality. That's your first impression, and the rest of the hotel - room, decor, pubic areas - is also scruffy. It might have been much more stylish back in the day but everything is tired now. Breakfast was rated by other reviewers but our experience was of diluted fruit juice and average quality food served in a cafeteria-like space. It felt like Hilton had stopped caring, although the staff tried hard to please. 3 days without room cleaning was too long. Putting the responsibility on the guest to ask for clean towels? Is that what your vacation is for?Pillows, as reported by others, had no substance. We had a pleasant stay at The Hampton by Hilton. The hotel’s cleanliness was very good — I would rate it 4 stars for overall upkeep and comfort. Our room was well-maintained and tidy throughout our stay.The breakfast was okay, but I would rate it 4 stars. There weren’t many choices for a continental breakfast, and the selection could be improved for more variety.The best part of this hotel is definitely the location — 5 stars! It is perfectly situated near train station, within easy walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and beautiful churches. It’s an ideal base for exploring Antwerp.Overall, a great stay mainly because of its excellent location.
