Location

    Comfortable Stay with Friendly Staff, but Noise from Bar and Neighbours a Drawback

    The room was a decent size and we had a king bed which was very comfortable. It was a little too long for the room, but manageable.The staff were all pleasant and friendly.The location is right by the station and next to a bar. This means that what you gain for convenience for access to public transport you lose in the noise at night. We had noise two nights in a row, unfortunately, if it wasn’t the noisy neighbours at the bar, it was the noisy neighbours inside the hotel. Both are outside of the staff’s control - if you are a light sleeper then it will bother you, if you sleep like a bear then it won’t bother you at all! The staff do well to complain and escalate to local authorities, but the reality is that people will be noisy if they want to and you just have to be aware if you are visiting.We didn’t have breakfast included but it looked good.Well located, about a 20 minute stroll to Grote Markt, the area where you will find lots of bars and restaurants.     Adorable hotel, easy location.

    An adorable boutique hotel right at the train station. Our room was on the second floor and the bar below was loud on Saturday night but honestly, that was our only complaint. Room was adorable and well appointed if a bit small compared to US standards. The cafe made excellent coffee (we ate elsewhere based on our itinerary) and staff was friendly. Check-in was firmly at 3pm but they kindly held our bags while we explored. Would stay here again for sure.

    Reception staff were great, got us into our rooms at just after midday. Handily placed for the station, nice little supermarket right next door, a little walk to the historic centre and the docks for the Wolf Food Hall. A nice choice good quality property.

    The staff make this hotel. From Zara and Joey on reception to Jeffrey in the bar/restaurant to Lorenzo, the brilliant hotel manager. Everyone was so welcoming.The team allocated me the quietest room they could . Someone decided to have a loud party on a Tuesday evening. However, changing room for the night Duty Manager was no problem😀. Housekeeping also forgot to clean my room one day but Lorenzo sorted out some points which was fantastic. Housekeeping though did a great job.I had dinner in the restaurant on a couple of evenings, at all them although the menu selection is small, the food was delicious, and the quantities very generous. And there is a great selection of beer.😀Aan het hele team, dank u wel! Ik houd van Antwerpen!
