Full price for a room in a construction site.
02 Jun 2026
This hotel is currently a construction site, and all facilities are unavailable. There is no bar, restaurant or lounge area. You can basically go and sleep in your room, nothing else. The hallway is dirty and dusty from construction. We stayed on the 3rd floor, and at 6am in the morning the workers are preparing for the day's work and at 6h30 they're already grinding and drilling with no concern that we are in the room right beneath them.We paid full price for this room, but the experience was ridiculous. It's hard to believe they would still rent out rooms with the hotel in this state.I cannot recommend this hotel at all, and I will never ever be back. Hotel- cmanager, Owner at Ibis Antwerpen Centrum, responded to this review Dear Stephan,Thank you for sharing your thoughts on your recent visit. We are pleased to know our central location near Antwerp’s main attractions and public transport met your needs during your stay. However, we sincerely apologize that your experience fell short. The ongoing work in the hotel impacted your comfort, and we regret the disturbances you encountered. Our team is always available to assist guests with any concerns during their stay, and we take your feedback about the noise levels and facility availability seriously. We hope you will consider staying with us again in the future. Best regards,Eva Scheerlinck, General Manager

STANDARD MEANS STANDARD.
25 Mar 2026
It's an Ibis, so you get what you pay for.I used here as a stopover while motorhome travelling. Antwerp is an anti-motorhome city so we had to park 1km away at the Stadspark.Car-parking on scene at hotel.Standard room means just a bed, TV and bathroom. No in-room coffee/tea making facilities. Vending machines in main foyer. Hotel- cmanager, Owner at Ibis Antwerpen Centrum, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for taking the time to send us your rating. We sincerely regret that your experience did not meet your expectations. While our standard rooms are designed to provide essential amenities for a comfortable stay, we understand the importance of in-room conveniences like coffee and tea facilities. You can buy a coffee or tea in our cosy bar, or rent the facilities to make your own.Regarding parking, Antwerp’s city center regulations limit on-site vehicle access, but we provide information on nearby public parking options to assist guests. We appreciate your understanding as we navigate these urban constraints while striving to maintain our central location’s convenience for exploring the city.We hope to be able to welcome you for an improved experience in the future.Best wishes,Eva Scheerlinck, General Manager

A short but perfect stay!

We stayed only one night in this hotel... we are very happy with our choice. It was BRILLIANT! The staff is very friendly and helpful; easy and fast check-in. The location was fantastic in the heart of the city. Parking was quite easy. Our room was spotless clean and comfortable with its en-suite bathroom. WiFi was good. Breakfast was excellent. Overall, we found the value provided to be absolutely outstanding in the context of the many places we visited during our trip in Belgium. We highly recommended; we will be back next time we come to Antwerp! Quite ok

I enjoyed my one-night stay in this excellently located hotel in Antwerp. My room on the first floor was alright with a nice view of the famous open-air market outside. For 17 euros extra, i enjoyed a quite huge breakfast buffet. My room and the hotel in general were clean. The staff members in general were quite alright. I like this hotel.
