  Stayed two nights in June'26 (Thomas Cook Group). Prefer to erase memories of our stay here. Chipped plates, Absence of staff to assist guests during buffet breakfast, indifference attitude towards need of guests...... Sorry fellas... Truth needs to be told....To reform or ignore is your option.   The hotel is absolutely fine if you just need a bed for the night. It was clean enough and staff at reception were polite and friendly. Now there are a few points were they fell incredibly short. First off the “kids area” is a joke and I would absolutely not classify it as a kid friendly hotel. The kids area is a box of discarded old toys and two kids chairs. The restaurant on site is overpriced but not as overpriced as the breakfast. Service at the restaurant is a bit slow and if you have other options for food I would consider it.   The hotel offers excellent accommodations, very cozy and welcoming, a very clean family-friendly environment, and the food is very good. The reception staff deserves a 10/10.   Bad restaurant experience

  We had a bad restaurant experience at this hotel. Our family of five arrived for dinner at 9 pm. We asked if the food was still available and were told that it was, so we took a seat. We ordered from the menu and were then told that our requests were not available. The only option was fish and chips, so we ordered 2. I asked if we could order a salad for the two children with coeliac disease, who require a gluten-free diet. We were told that salad was not an option and that there was nothing for them. I asked to speak with the chef about any fruit or vegetable options, but he was unwilling to speak with me. My husband went to find some fruit in the car, so they could have something. When our fish and chips arrived, the meal was over cooked and the plate came with a small side salad. I asked the waiter why I was told I couldn't order a salad, and he said it only comes with a main meal. A very frustrating experience!!!
