Always great stay at hotel van der valk. This time we stayed on 7th floor, room was really dark which is good for sleeping. Hotel breakfast is good as always, various choice for healthy breakfast. Lovely, luxury hotel

Lovely hotel! The staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was clean, beds comfortable and the room was at a decent temperature. We didn't have dinner there but the breakfast buffet was great. Lots of different choices from cold meats and cheese, cereal yoghurt, hot food etc (more than many similar rated hotels). We would definitely go back, hopefully with more time, so we could make use of all the facilities. Great stay buy some issues need to be sorted out. Wheelchair access and kitchen.

I have been back to this hotel several times over the last two years and I find it extremely good and always enjoy staying. The staff are always very friendly and always willing to help. I do need to point out that there are two things though that continuously disappoint. 1) The kitchen. Waiting staff are great always polite but they continuously have to make excuses for the kitchen. Kids bolognaise took 1hr 10min and I ordered some Mussels one evening and they took over 50 min. Long wait times are a seem to be a norm 2) DISABLED PARKING. There is a ramp that takes you from the disabled parking to the main entrance. The top of the ramp is continuously blocked by parked cars (see photos.) They should put a barrier or create a no parking zone so that wheel chair users can at least gain access. I brought this up to reception and they realised there was a problem and felt bad in that they cannot always run out and ask people not to park there. MANAGEMENT PLEASE DO SOMETHING you will be doing something good for wheel chair users and also help out the staff at the front desk. Comfortable, clean and professional and polite staff.

The staff are very friendly and hospitable, the rooms clean and comfortable. And it’s all good value for money. The only drawback is that the wellness facilities are not accessible, as they are accessed via a flight of stairs from the first floor. I believe accessibility could be better or transparency around this improved. Beautiful vegan meals

Your chef and kitchen team created the most beautiful vegan dishes every day. Not once did I feel I was left out of the menu alongside my colleagues nor was I disappointed by the food served to me. I believe I have had some of the best vegan meals I've ever had.Your front of house team was equally exceptional in their diligence to bring me the meals correctly.I hope I have the chance to stay with you again in the future.
