    DON’T COME HERE

    rating23 Sept 2023

What. Was. That. We booked this place as colleagues, two separate rooms, because it was close to our conference in Arlon. We briefly looked at the pictures and the price was 70€per night. We didn't expect the most luxurious place, but you would expect this place to at least be clean for that price.Well, it wasn't. The entrance to the hotel is a combination of a highway shop + toilets / highway restaurant and the reception desk of the hotel. We got rooms 200 and 201, which are the first two rooms right by the entrance, where any person who has bad intentions can walk right in. There is literally no one stopping you and if you take a wrong turn to the restaurant, you are at the hotel's ground floor rooms.. It felt completely unsafe. It's not like the little metal chain on the door is going to stop people if they really want to come inside the room. My key to room 200 didn't work, which should have been my first clue that no one has been in there for weeks. It was completely gross. The whole room smelled really moldy, the walls are so dirty, there was a stain on the bedsheet, the "shower" drain was clogged (not that the shower actually worked, you would have to hold the pin for changing the water from tab to showerhead in one hand, and then the actual showerhead in the other, combine that with the water not going anywhere, it isn't a great experience to say the least. The toilet was NOT clean. Okay i get that it's OLD and at some point calcium will build up, but that was not the only thing going on here. The tiles on the walls have shifted in place from the mold growing behind them. I turned off the light asap to just forget about HOW EXTREMELY AWFUL the room is. You could literally pay me money to go there, I wouldn't. It's pretty much beyond fixing at this point.Bulldozer the whole building and start anew. And change the name of the hotel because the ship that holds the ability of fixing its reputation has sailed a long long time ago. PS. Breakfast was not helping.Choices were: pain au chocolat, croissant, or a plain small baguette. A weird looking jar of fruit that wasn't even fresh. Cheese, ham and a warm tomato or bacon. For drinks: coffee, milk, fresh orange juice that was not great because it was almost supposed to be eaten with a spoon from all the pulp. All of that in a very depressing setting where the sad fake plant isn't doing anything to make it better.Overall: stay away from this place.Even if there is no other rooms available for miles around, drive past this place really fast and never look back!!

Avoid this hotel like the plague . Its more suited to the lorry drivers who were parked there .

This was an overnight stop on way home from Switzerland . The place was dirty . The bedroom stunk of smoke , so the window was thrown open . The window was filthy , as was the net curtain. If we hadn’t have been tired we would not have stayed . The whole hotel is dated and needs a clean. The sheet on the bed didn’t cover the mattress properly and there was no mattress protector. Only cigarette burns. The dining room was awful. Food disgusting, so I ate a bag of crisps . We booked this through booking.com , and I suggested they look at the place before they advertise it . Breakfast was no better . A drink and croissant went down with difficulty . We have never stayed in such an awful place .

    Great for PistonHeads

Situated between a lorry park and the motorway, this humble hotel allows you to see, hear and smell the combustion engine for 24 hours a day.The good breakfast is had on the motorway bridge cafe, where you can watch weary travellers wander in for refreshment. If this is for you, it is great value.

    Terrible experience

    rating17 Jul 2022

Location is fine but only if you just need to spend one night there while travelling to another location… Nevertheless you‘re not able to sleep there because if you open the window for fresh air, you cant hear your own voice anymore due to the noise of the highway. As well if you don‘t open the window, you will sweat extremely because there is no air cooler. The food is as well terrible.

Room was not clean. A shame.

The hotel reception is not too bad. Some respect security wearing mask, most customers dont. What is worst is that also personnel does not at the reception. Pretty bad. Worst is the room where we found some dirt and a sock we think from previous room customer. Noisy too since windows are not excellent and not well sealed. Prices too high for what is offered. Closed story for us, pity.
