  Hotel Albert 1 was love at first sight ♥️ My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights to visit Bruges and its beautiful Christmas markets in November. The location was excellent, really close to the city center and restaurants. Staff was very nice, especially a Lady that served us breakfast daily. Our standard room was so comfy but a little bit small so I suggest you to do an upgrade in case of big baggage. Room temperature was great despite the snow out there.   Lovely traditional hotel

  The Albert 1 is about 15 minutes from the train station, which makes it easy to walk to with luggage. It is also across the street from a bus stop. It’s right on the edge of the city center and an easy walk.The rooms are simple but clean, owners very helpful and friendly and great breakfast.   Excellent location for access to bus, train and the town. All within walking distance. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Room was a great size and very comfortable. Perfect to have a bath and a shower. Breakfast served to the table was delicious; fresh juice, fresh fruit, choice of cereals, choice of mini croissants, breads, cheeses and meats. Tea or coffee served in an individual pot. So nice! Staff happy to talk and exchange pleasantries. Little chocolate sweets to sample daily!! If returning to Bruges I would definitely choose this hotel again. Cannot recommend highly enough.   3 night stay in one of the 'family' rooms. Essentially 2 separate bedrooms connected by a shared bathroom. Rooms compact but very clean & comfortable. Location was perfect - only a short walk to the shops and main market square. Excellent breakfast with a large choice or pastries, breads, fruit etc..The owners & staff couldn't have been more welcoming or accommodating. Can't fault this lovely little hotel.
