    Deceptive Practices and Unethical Service

    We’re seasoned travelers and rarely write reviews, but this experience needs to be called out. The staff were unprofessional and used deceptive tactics to upsell services we had not booked. We had reserved a room without breakfast, yet were told, “you have a room with breakfast, correct?” and pushed to confirm it for both days. When I checked and declined, they still attempted to proceed and then charged us a transaction fee.They initially fumbled over their English in a way that created confusion, but in a later conversation it was clear they had full command of the language, which made the interaction feel even more intentional.After 36 hours of travel, we were exhausted and just trying to get our family of four into the room to rest. Instead, we were met with tactics that felt calculated and dishonest. Within minutes of arriving in Bruges, we felt taken advantage of. Easily one of the most unethical service experiences we’ve had at a hotel anywhere in the world.

    Fantastic Hotel! Was my finances birthday and the hotel staff went above and beyond for us! Highly recommend and would defiantly go back.

    A really nice hotel in a goof location. The staff are brilliant, especially the nice fella who runs the restaurant he his so funny and very help full. All six of us would 100% stay here again.

    Christmas at the Hotel Acacia

    We have stayed at the Acacia Hotel a few times now. Recently we stayed there over the Christmas holidays. We love staying here. The rooms are clean and tidy. The staff from the front desk to the cleaners are all very nice and proffesional. For us it is like going home. We love visting Bruges and staying at the Acacia. We already have another stay for April. In short we have never had any problems or cause to complain. We recommend the Hotel Acacia to everyone

    A very elegant hotel at the heart of Bruges and in a peaceful location. The staff of friendly and efficient and the rooms are very quiet and comfortable. We’ll definitely go back if in Bruges again.
