  We had saved for a Citytrip Brugge and have booked at Hotel 't Putje 3nights and breakfast for €369,00. on our way to te station we were called that we had to sleep in a dependance with an other entrance. at arrival we discovered that the hotel was closed en also no facility's for us no breakfast nothing. a room with a good bed was our stay no refregarator nothing/ we've never had so little for so much money

  Ok for 1 night stopover. There were no tea/coffee facilities available for room and when I asked could I get a coffee from the restaurant when I came in on the evening the man was quite rude and said its not possible. He gave me a kettle out of a drawer but once boiled it had lots of black bits in the water so no good. Carpets need a good clean! Wanted to book breakfast on the morning the girl told me cash only, machine not working 🤔 how do they accommodate pay on day guests? Overall a budget hotel.

  Nice hotel very well price for for quality and service you get I stay there on the 29/07 to 31/07 very well located hotel for visitors to explore the city and very reasonable price .

  I liked our quirky room but there are issues

  Booked quite late so not a huge amount of choice to pick from and we selected this hotel based on price and location (especially proximity to station) I liked our quirky room on the second floor. It had a balcony that no one else seemed to have but it definitely needs some TLC. Bit battered. Corridor carpets are stained. Strange smell. Lots of steps despite the lift so take that into account if you are not good on your feet. Room was spacious and sheets clean. Bathroom fan didnt work and looked completely clogged with dust. Balcony area just needed a good clean. It was good to get some fresh air into the room and cool it a little. Fan is supplied. What let it down for me was lack of tea/coffee facilities in the room. On day 2 we saw a cleaner remove a kettle from another room so we asked for one. That wasn’t a problem (one sat on the desk) but asking for two mugs seemed to be asking too much of the receptionist. We got them but it seemed to be in his ‘too hard’ basket. NB only paper cups supplied in the room. We were also only permitted one room key which given it was needed in the electric slot, annoyed me. I was told I could put a different card of my own in it! Erm no - I’m not leaving my card there and so we had to wedge a leaflet in, in order to keep the fridge cold. Had breakfast on day 1 and given prices in Bruges it was good value. Pleasant breakfast room and nice choices. Location was great for bike rental/parking. Local restaurants seem to close early immediately surrounding hotel. I loved Bruges and would be happy to go back but perhaps to a different hotel next time.

  Bed Bugs in Room

  Avoid this hotel as there are bed bugs in the rooms. Returned home with 50+ bed bug bites! Room was also boiling hot. Would not recommend.
