Location

This hotel is situated in a quiet area in the heart of the city. It lies only a few metres from the most beautiful and romantic canals with the oldest bridges dating back to the 14th century. Facility

Guests have a choice of 3 junior suites, 4 suites and 29 double rooms located in two 2-storey buildings with lifts. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Services such as a baggage storage service and a safe ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions.     A nice hotel with an old world feeling. There was someone on duty 24 hours a day who works on the front desk and runs the bar. They speak very good English. It is a little down at heel which adds to its charm. It has a sauna and steam room which can be booked free of charge. The breakfast was rather expensive for a buffet so we only ate there the first day. Kettle, tea and mini bar are provided.

    This hotel was so charming and very easy to walk to everything we wanted to see in Bruges. Sergeis the night clerk was very kind and helpful with recommendations, directions, and even making us a few drinks in the bar. We loved the charm of the hotel and garden. Only disappointment was it listed shower when booking which was important to one of us and it ended up being a tub with a handheld shower head and the ceiling wasn’t tall enough to stand in the tub. We made it work and that was the only negative.

    A very pretty hotel close to the centre of Bruges, offering a warm welcome. It's a 5-10 minute walk from Market Square, and there are places to eat and drink nearby. The staff are well-trained, very friendly and super-helpful. The breakfast is plentiful and reasonably priced, considering the high prices in the area (we highly recommend the scrambled eggs, which were excellent). The rooms are "traditional" and could use a little TLC, but the bed was very comfortable, and there was a flat-screen TV with lots of channels. The bar area was a very nice place to have a pre-drink before a night out in Bruge.

    We loved everything about our stay from the welcome to departure checkout. We stayed 4 nights. Our double room was amazing off one of the courtyards and just so comfortable with a lovely bath. We had breakfast each morning which had enough choice to suit most people. We enjoyed using the sauna and steam room which was one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel. The only minor change we would suggest is to have a jug of water available in here for people like us who forgot to take a bottle of water in with them and keeping hydrated is important. We had a drink in the bar and the price was not expensive and as always in Belgium served in the correct glass. The fire was good as it was a December stay. Hope to visit you again.

    We booked 3 nights at the Jan Brito Hotel. The location was perfect, close to everything and peaceful. The decor of the hotel is amazing. The room was stunning, clean and spacious.The staff were friendly, polite and helpful.Breakfast was a wonderful variety and great quality.The overall experience was absolutely perfect.We were there as a couple but would be ideal for a family.Would recommend this hotel to everyone. Thank you it was a pleasure to be your guests.Deb and Chris Gawthrop
