    Lovely place to stay, but bathroom is absurd

    The pros:The room was clean and lovely looking. Hotel had an elevator, and a 24-hour front desk, as well as luggage storage.Bed was comfortable, and we slept well.Blissfully quiet.The cons:The bathroom seemed to have been designed by an artist who had never actually used a hotel bathroom. While it looked very stylish, there was no door at all, with a full glass wall on one side, so the toilet was essentially right in the middle of the bedroom. My husband and I took turns standing in the hallway outside while the other used the toilet. The sink had only a few centimetres of space where you might place so much as a toothbrush, and if you did there was nothing to stop it crashing onto the floor at the slightest touch. The shower had shampoo and conditioner containers affixed inside, but no soap of any kind or any place to put it other than on the floor. The body wash container was attached to the wall right across the other side of the bathroom… were you supposed to walk dripping back and forth across the floor throughout your shower to access it?

    Good location and quiet hotel

    The hotel is centrally situated and within walking distance of the railway station. On ‘t Zand where there is a good choice of restaurants and bars. That said it was very quiet and the room a good size and well appointed. We did not have breakfast at the hotel but the food looked excellent quality. We would certainly recommend this hotel for a stay in Bruges.
