Location

This grand hotel lies in the business and government ministry quarter of Brussels, only three blocks from the Gare du Nord railway station and some 5 minutes' taxi ride from the famous Grand Place.

The hotel has 297 rooms, which are located on 4 storeys and are reachable by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday.     We have landed early morning, when arrived to the hotel the receptionist was sitting on her phone, she allowed us to store the bags and told us to come back at 3P.M when the checkin time is, that's no problem with us as we went to explore the city. at around 4P.M we came back to check in, the check in procedure took nearly 20min with a different receptionist that looked super uninterested and board with her life. It took her nearly 10 mins just to find us a room in the system, and when she did, she had to ask a member of housekeeping staff if the room was ready. They replied that it is, and she gave out the keys. When we walked into the room, the room was dirty, it looked like someone had just checked out of there....I went down to reception, informing them that the room is dirty and we need to change. It took her another 10 mins to find something else. When she did, she apologised and gave me the key.We walked up to the room. The room was relatively clean, there was some dust in the corners, the bathroom was old and showed it, the towels were ripped and smelled like bleach, and the bed sheets had some red dots on them...During breakfast, the checkout process was messy. There was a stand with a tablet that was plugged in and no instructions... A guy was hiding in the corner of the bar who worked there; of course, he was not on his phone! When he came up, he looked at the room key and just said, " Go in... The breakfast was basic (cereal, bread, ham, cheese, and coffee), no joke! That's it! The best part of this hotel is that it's close to a train station and a tram stop to get out of there!Overall, the atmosphere was unwelcoming, the staff were unprofessional, not worth the value!Just avoid!

    Horribile, nightmare "hotel" experience

    Please avoid this "hotel" if you don't wanna have any particular problems!When I entered the room assigned to me (room number 1428), it was very cold, with the temperature hovering around 16-18°C, I had to keep my heavy jacket on. Furthermore, the room had a lot of dust on the furniture and above the bedside table. Furthermore, the bathroom faucet was clogged, with no water running.After I complained on February 14th several times about this highly unpleasant situation, a very kind receptionist assigned me another room, 3442, which I enjoyed and had no problems with.Special features of this hotel: dust inside the room, cold, very cold, poor maintenance

    On arrival despite booking 2 rooms they only had one for me. Reception were more interested in blaming me than trying to help. Saying I’d only paid for 1. Once I’d found my email receipt they eventually started to look for another room but I was told they had none available. Great. They found me one which when I got too was already occupied and after another tripBack to reception I got a student dorm room that would sleep 4. It was clean and tidy. Very good shower. No tea and coffee facilities. This hotel is also miles away from central Brussels. Near the seediest dirtiest part of downtown Brussels. Overall Brussels is dirty, full of homeless, beggars everywhere. We came to watch football which was decent but I wouldn’t recommend going to Brussels or this hotel.

    Extreme dirty rooms this time. Dirt & hairs everywhereThe check in and Check out is also very oldfashion. I will not come back and recommend everyone else to not come here.I requested many time a invoice. The hotel ist good at ghosting

    This property is near the brussels nord station and at walking distance.The rooms are big & confertable but there was no water & coffee accessories.The breakfast is ok for Euro 11 but could be better.The most annoying is their check out time is 10 am and the reception staff will not listen to you for anything.If they want more guests they have to change their self.
