    I spent 4 nights in this horrible place. The first thing that struck me when entering the appartment was the very unpleasant smell - from very old plastic? - and the room temperature of 25 degrees, with no functioning AC. The general impression of the place was just incredibly shabby, as if time had stood still threre for the past 50 years. Wallpapers and floor carpet were torn and dirty, and the furniture was old, outdated and uncomfortable. The tv:s had only analog channels that didn’t work. Each time I used the bathroom sink, the bathtub drain made a very loud noise for about five minutes!? On the first day, there was a leak from the roof in my kitchen, apparently from the toilet in the appartment above - I did’t much feel like cooking after that…190€/ night in this apparthotel is a total ripoff. There is no cleaning service, and you are expected to take out the garbage yourself, otherwise you risk a fine of 150€.It absolutely does not deserve its 3-star rating; it should have no star at all.

    Couldn’t get in no reception staff. Make sure you have code before you leave Britain. Was told it was a public holiday in Belgium so how did they think we were going to get in!! Room very tatty carpet marked bathroom looked like taps were going to fall off. Bed clean. Wouldn’t stay here again. Was set up for three people. Bed made up in living room so couldn’t even sit there. Was frightened to touch the couch as wasn’t sure what I would find. We did know there was no air conditioning but you really need it.     Terrible don't book this place

    Booked through Eurostar, that was my first mistake. The hotel itself is awful, my room was terrible. Very poor maintenance, someone had tried to set fire to the room before me. The interconnecting door had a burn mark, as did the wall paper. Air con doesn't work. So opened the patio door and it is a communal area so couldn't keep it open at night. Getting access to the room was hard apparently they sent an email with codes but I didn't get it as I booked through Eurostar. So had to ring the reception as it closed at 8pm the phone number didn't work. Thankfully an apartment person knew the door codes so I got in. Hell of a crap hotel.     Asked for an impossible to pay deposit at the last possible moment

    On a friday at 23:16 I revieved an email asking us to pay a security deposit of €250(!) for a booking the next monday.Apparently, this had to be paid using a creditcard. Problem is, I don't have one, and didn't need one when booking a room on booking.com. I wasn't able to contact any sort of support; they don't answer messages, emails, or take calls on weekends.Another thing i should mention is that the security deposit cost just as much as the room itself.We were lucky to have one more day(!) to cancel, and we did. Scummy buisness tactic that ruined our vacation to Brussels B-aparthotels Group, Marketing at B-Aparthotel Ambiorix, responded to this review Dear Guest,Please note "guarantee deposit" is always asked to be paid in every hotel around the world and it's mentioned when you book through Booking.com.     Nice apartment to stay in Brussels

    The situation in Brussels is perfect in a very calm little square, the accommodation is very clean. Big space with a well equipped kitchen. The bed was very confortable. Big bathroom very well equipped too.
