  Lovely Hotel & Staff - shame about the area

  The Hotel itself was nice, they have a complementary drink section so you could have coffee and different teas. The room was good too and there was a number pin that you had to put in to get into the room so it felt secure. The bathroom was good and well lit so I could do makeup in there. The room was cleaned each day and there were fresh towels and the bed was made each day which was good. I think that the value for money here is very good and the hotel is secure. Also the hotel is right next to the train station so I thought it would be very loud but I could barely hear the trains unless I was really listening so we did have good sleeps. However the area that the hotel is in doesn’t feel the safest. Me and my boyfriend had to get taxis to and from the centre even though it’s a 15-20 minute walk because we felt so unsafe there. I booked the hotel because it was in walking distance of the city centre so it was a shame that we had to get taxis all the time. The staff there on the front desk were so lovely though and they were so welcoming. The reception is 24 hours so there was always someone there which did make us feel more safe. Overall, the hotel is great but it’s a shame about the area it is in.   Brilliant for a short stay in Brussels!

  Lovely hotel in a brilliant location close to the Gare du Midi Station and Metro. Rooms very comfortable and clean and staff helpful. Liked having the tea and coffee making facilities in the foyer and the breakfast was good. The breakfast room was a little small for the amount of chairs and tables but we enjoyed our stay and if ever back in Brussels would stay here again.
