Location

This hotel is situated in the lively and modern area of Louise Avenue and the Avenue de la Toison d'Or. Many famous boutiques, restaurants and cinemas are located in this trendy area. Bars and nightclubs are to be found 10 minutes from the hotel. A supermarket is located in the vicinity of the hotel (open Monday to Saturday until 8 pm). A bus station and a diverse range of shops are located close by. The train station, Gare Bruxelles Midi, is approximately 1 km away (3 stops on the underground), whilst Charleroi Brussels South airport is about 20 km away.

Facility

48 apartments, 65 studios, 27 single rooms and 14 double rooms are located on 9 storeys and can be reached by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock.     The location was great. Close proximity to everything you need in terms of parking, shops and metro links. It’s close to the grand palace and at a walkable distance. Free coffee dispensary near the reception area and water too. The views from the room are not pleasant and lots of road works going on atm.The entrance to the hotel is by a whole load of bins, the rooms are dated and you had to make your own sofa bed up.There dents and cracks all over the joint and we decided not to use the shower and bathroom as it looked not very clean.     This place badly needs renovations. Looking old and tired. Dirty carpets. Room was spacious. Very disappointed after booking a long time in advance for a couple, and given a room with 2 single beds pushed together with single bedding on it.The laundry washing machines were ok, but after 2 hours in the dryer they were not dry.Area was a bit dinghy, but a good supermarket and there were restaurants close by.Staff were friendly and helpful.     Well equipped and good location

    Very good location for restaurants and a supermarket (literally right around the corner). Great for the flea market too. Free coffee downstairs and the rooms are well equipped with kitchen items etc . Annoyingly my key stopped working on the 2nd and 3rd mornings so both times I’d arrive back full of bags, go upstairs and then have to head back down again to get my key reprogrammed. Can also be a bit noisy with other guests (but that’s all hotels really).

    Great hotel for autumn

    The room had a very well equipped kitchen with pots and pans, lots of cutlery and dishes, a kettle and even a small dishwasher. The bed was very spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom and shower were pretty good and the toilet is in a separate room. This is good, but there’s no sink in the toilet room. The room was quite clean but the floor was a little dusty (slippers would have been nice). Bathroom amenities provided were shampoo with conditioner and body gel. The worst thing was how loud the street was at night. There were several sirens every night, and we even woke up to shouting once. The room has no AC, so it’s probably best not to go in the middle of summer but for September it was fine but we had to keep the window open. The staff were friendly and we had no issues with reception or getting new towels.The location of the hotel is super convenient. It’s about 20 min from the grand place and midi station by walking. The public transport is super close by and easy to use. There is a tram and metro station just outside the hotel.The best thing is just round the corner from the hotel. There is an excellent street of restaurants which have amazing food and are open until quite late (around 23:00). These were recommended to us by the staff and the Italian restaurant, Al piccolo Mondo, was absolutely fantastic!Overall, pretty good hotel for couples if you don’t mind noise at night.
