    A very nice hotel, centrally located and well served by various options of public transport, extremely friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet is one of the better ones I have had the opportunity to sample.Nice beds, not too soft!

    NH Brussels Louise, welcome receipt and friendly and assertive staff. Recommendation for nearby restaurants . Accommodation in general seems worn and not the usual fresh and modern NH standard. Breakfast OK. Room and bathroom relative small. Bed was good quality and quiet.

    Conveniently situated, but a little lacking in atmosphere

    The hotel is very conveniently situated for transport links and the staff are helpful when you need to sort anything out. However, we asked prior to arriving for rooms near each other (we travelled with our two boys) but were given rooms maybe 60 yards apart. Also, the superior room we were given was in the roof and thus had a sloping window, so when it rained in the night, which it did two nights in a row, the noise of the heavy rain on the window made it difficult to sleep. We also found it a bit stark - as you walk there's a big area to your right that could make a nice bar area where people could maybe mix and relax, but it's used as nothing more than a waiting room. The actual bar is a dull affair - just a selection of drinks and snacks on shelves that you choose and take to reception to pay for. There's not even a seating area, so it's not really a bar where you can relax with a drink, just a self-service point. It would create a far more welcoming feel upon arrival if that area at the front of the hotel was turned into a bar where people could relax when they returned from their day out, rather than just head straight to their rooms.     The staff was really kind and friendly. The breakfast was quite good, although it could have better quality of products. The rooms were good. The age of the hotel however was obvious from the corridors and the bathrooms. I would be happier if the cleanliness was a little bit better.
