    Good hotel in safe EU neighbourhood

    Stayed one night for an event at koninklijk Circus. For the price I payed ( weekend price with breakfast included and upgraded room) this is one of the best places to go. Everything clean, friendly check in, silent neighbourhoud, close to metro station. Area also felt safe late in the evening.     Really Good central Hotel

    Being a Marriott you know what to expect and this one didn't disappoint. Been central enough to walk or get a short metro into the city. The breakfast was nice and the bar had a good selection of Belgium beers. Rooms were clean and peaceful. Value was pretty good. Belgium isn't the cheapest so the room felt in line or better with these prices.     Clean, comfortable , relaxed with pleasant staff members and a great breakfast. We spoke to many staff for various preseason and all were helpful. Can’t fault it . Only issue was phone in the room unable to call out or to reception for a question I had and the walk to Grand Place is about 20 minutes which we knew but still it felt a schlepp at night . The street buildings are under construction in front . I’d stay here again though. We enjoyed our stay.     After I made a reservation on Expedia for 3 days, there was no mean to contact the hotel neither through expedia, nor in the direct message to the hotel, the email for the reception is not valid, and waited over 22mn on the phone without having any one to take my overseas call !!!!. my trip tomorrow to brussels and to this hotel does not look very promissing. All what i was trying to do is to announce my early arrival at 11am. I took me so far over 1.5hours trying to contact th eHotel by any mean. !!!! Very dissapointing.
