    The place is under construction which is not mentioned until you arrive.. which means the place shouldn’t be full price as it’s a noisy mess!! Rooms are paper thin! All me and my child could hear were drunk loud messes blasting music , screaming and running in the corridor.. complained moved rooms and had the exact same problem!Tv has like 1 English speaking channel… 1st hotel I’ve ever visited without tea & coffee facilities in the room… you have to pay in reception for vending machine. Filthy bathroom full of hairs, would never visit again!! For how expensive it is im disappointed

    Denied any Refund for walking into my Room at 1:00am and demanding my Identity.

    Between 12:30am - 1:00am on Tuesday morning, Nov 19th, we were sleeping in our room then a couple with their luggage walked into our room. Needless to stay we woke up out of our bed in a state of shock. Those people then immediately left the room.10 minutes later, the Hotel Desk called our Room phone and told my wife "This is an Emergency!!! Come down to the Hotel Desk immediately!!!"I put on my clothes and walked down to the Hotel Desk. The man working the graveyard shift said to me "What is your Name? Write down your name for me!!!"I wrote down my name and then he looked on his computer. For whatever reason, the Hotel did not properly track my reservation.I made the reservation through Priceline with 'Hotel Progress". Apparently Hotel Progress became 'Hotel des Colonies' between the time I made the reservation and the time we arrived. Apparently they did not properly transfer reservations from the old ownership to the new ownership.Needless to say, I demanded a full refund on my stay at this Hotel. I demanded this from Hotel des Colonies and from Priceline. Priceline told me that I needed to provide proof that this event occurred in order to get a full refund. Sorry. I don't hold my Smartphone in my hand and ready to take pictures of people walking into my Hotel room at 1:00am in the morning with my wife by my side.This Hotel des Colonies and Priceline are standing by, ready to wake you up in the middle of the night and demand you identify yourself, and deny any compensation for not sleeping at all that night from their ridiculous blunder.

    Pathetic experience! We booked a room at Hotel des Colonies but were shifted to hotel Siru with smelly room, no AC .. worst experience ever. We were told that it’ll be an upgrade but it wasn’t so it was a scam! No elevator so we had to pick our luggage all the way up to 3rd floor. They asked us to open the window so we can get some air but since it was raining, water poured down into our room! WiFi didn’t work at all. Did complaint but nothing was done! They should tell us prior to payment about such issues so customers can book somewhere else!

    NEVER AGAIN in "hotel les colonies"!!!

    The whole stay was a catastrophy since the very first seconds when I ented the building...there was a very awful smell...this continued minutes later at the reception where the staff was very unfriendly. Then it continued in the room, where nothing was working properly, no TV, no phone, etc... I paid ~170€/night and It was also very surprising for a 3 stars hotel that one need to ask at the reception for a hair-dryer. I wonder how this hotel could be a 3 stars, as the service provided is at the level of a 1 start hotel!!! I definitely do not recommend to anybody to stay in this hotel...I am travelling very often to Bruxelles and hotel les colonies is now in my "black list"!

    First of all the location was amazing considering the price. Affordable place and worth staying for a few days. The room was quite small for 3 beds but it was okay enough. Bathroom was good with everything that's needed in it. Staff at the reception on the other side didn't really understand English and was not easy to communicate with.
