    Great Location and all major spots are walkable distance.. It is more of a budget hotel with limited breakfast and thats why 4 stars and everything was self service..     Beware booking may be cancelled at short notice

    Absolutely disgraceful. Our booking was cancelled 7 days before our visit. This was already paid in full and had been booked 5 months in advance. We are a group of 10 friends who now have to find somewhere to stay at short notice. Apparently cancelled due to over booking. Be careful of booking this hotel as I see from another review this has happened before.     Someone to make you an omelette?A swimming pool? A massage?Spacious room with 2 chairs?Close to the airport?Lobby toilet easy to get to?Then you are looking at the wrong place.Something walking distance to the Grand Place?Predictable basic breakfast starting at 6:30?Nice larger screen TV with stations in several languages.Comfortable bed, nice shower, VERY helpful front desk staff?You found it!     My experience at Holiday Inn Express Brussels - Grand-Place was decent overall. The hotel is quite basic, with simple amenities, but everything was clean and functional. The staff were very helpful and responsive, which I really appreciated. The biggest advantage is the convenient location. The free breakfast is quite minimal, but adequate.     Stayed here for one night before heading to airport, chose it due to its location near shops and bars etc and within ten mins walk of both central and north railway stations Bigger than a normal express the room was pretty big with plenty of space for luggage , typical bathroom but good quality shower etcGreat breakfast area never struggled to get a table with typical express selection but good quality considering it’s free.
