  Passable Experience:Liked · With the Price of 60 to 65 Euros, it is in a good Location with connections to public transport. The hotel staff was able to give a room at 11:30 as i came earlier than check-in time. They have a mini kiosk in the reception for mineral water bottles, cool drinks and beer. WIFI is also quite good without any interruptions.Disliked · The room is very small and barely adequate for single person. The lighting inside the room are not very bright. The shower in the bathroom and toilet are really cramped and is not like the pictures shown during booking process in booking.com. There is only one single Power outlet. I suggest to bring charging extension cords if you have many devices. The flooring is old and badly maintained .There is no sound proofing in the walls and you can easily hear the outside noise during night. The hotel is directly facing the main road and you can easily the traffic noise from outside as the windows are not acoustics or sound-proof. Also beds are not that comfy and is difficult if you are not a sound sleeper. It is difficult to go to sleep in those beds and they definitely needed a upgrade. I think that Definitely would not recommend for family and is only suitable for single persons or for couple looking for short stay in a cheap hotel in good location with very minimum amenities. Cleaning of the floors was not done and bed linens were not changed every day as i stayed for around three days. The lift is very small and can barely accommodate two persons and stairways are not that safe and it is quite steep without any lighting.If anyone is planning to stay with lot of luggage, please avoid it. There is no breakfast service even though it is mentioned in the booking.com.

  I honestly can't recall staying in a worse hotel. Friendly enough staff do little to compensate for a bathroom, staircase, lift and entire room seemingly designed for one of Gandalf's friends. I was unfortunate enough to have a room with suspicious stains in the toilet bowl, black mould in what I would hesitatingly call a shower and bathroom electrics routed through said shower with plastic ducting. The cherry on the Hotel Albert cake was a bus stop right outside the window which was operational up to and including 0215, being used by drunkards and substance abusers in turn. Sound proof rooms my Aunt Sally.... By all means reserve your room and endure,as I did, the sights of people cooking and shooting up outside St Marie church at seven in the evening, if that is your bag. Perhaps you might take a certain existential thrill from using kamikaze wiring or descending steps which, in the event of the inevitable emergency, will double the number of casualties. Your risk, your holiday, your choice.

  Possibly the worst experience in a hotel in my life did not get any sleep. People fighting the smell of weed was so bad was giving me a headache It seems to be a lot of homeless living here. The was people banging on my door at 1am music was so loud I could not sleep this was still going at 4am I went to the receptionist he looked at me like what do you want me to do lazy man. Asked for my money back at 330am but was declined bad bad experience.

  I stayed for three nights in the Hotel Albert 'Residence', which is a few doors along from the main building. I was surprised to see so many negative reviews. My room was spacious and clean, and everything worked. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the continental breakfast was fine - good bread and coffee. Unlike other reviewers here, I found the neighbourhood seemed safe and friendly - like Brussels in general. The only negative points: sound insulation was not brilliant in my room, and, as a Brit, I find it amazing that continental hotels still don't seem to get the fact that people want to be able to boil water in their room!

  the hotel is not really clean, not safe, you can not trust to keep your valuable staff in your room, the room is so tight no place to walk nearly, the toilet of the room is so tight also and not comfortable at all, the noise around the hotel is too high
