  Assiveñy overprice for a sub quality hostel type room

  I paid over 300 euros for one night at this hotel without breakfast. The room smelled bad and the shower was cold and blocked resulting on all water spilling onto to the floor. The room was tiny and did not even had a kettle. The hotel felt more like a bad hostel. It felt like a complete ripoff. I won’t be returning. Any other hotel in the area seems much better.

  Stayed here the first time I was in brussel 10 years ago, and at least 10 times on business since then. Last now in June 2024.Service is fast and friendly, rooms are quiet and functional, location is great by subway and usually prices are good.

  Well situated hotel with everything you need for a short stay but no "bells and whistles"

  We got a decent price on this hotel for a quite last-minute booking and it was fine for our 2-night stay, but everything was really quite basic. The location was very good, within a couple of minutes walk of the Botinique Metro station and well served by trams that went straight to the Park/Palais areas and connected easily to a bus for Grand Place, so we were within 15 minutes travel time to the centre of Brussels. The downside of having a tram stop almost outside the door was the noise the trams make as they rumble along and ring thier bell at the stop; this was really audible from our second-floor room and meant getting to sleep and staying asleep was a bit difficult.The room itself was clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed, enough pillows, a tv, desk, a heater/fan, a safe and enough clothes storage space. There were usb ports by the bed for charging devices. The wi-fi was very fast. The bathroom was a bit old-fashioned and strange; although there was a shower hose on the bath there was not a holder on the wall so all we could do really was wash our hair. The shower attachment had a bit of a 'knack' to using it. (That said, the water pressure was phenomenal!) This was all fine for a 2 night stay in Spring but I wouldn't want to rely on a bathroom like that for a longer stay in the Summer months. I can't comment on the breakfast as we didn't have it. It was offered to us for 15 euros each per day but from what we could tell the selection wasn't huge.The staff were friendly and helpful when asked a question but didn't go out of their way to explain anything when we arrived.Overall this is a fine hotel for a short stay at the right price.

  Good location-walkable to city centre.If walking from Brussels Nord, it is a pretty uphill walk. Room is fairly spacious and well equipped for 2 people. Bed is larger than a double and is very comfortable. Street noise if you open the window, but there is a need for fresh air at night. Overall a good stay.

  Location is good. Beds are comfy although the pillows were slightly lumpy. Only issue was the bathroom- initially looked clean but after going to have a shower we noticed the shower head was covered in grime. It looked like it had not been cleaned in a very long time. This made us not feel comfortable having a shower which was very inconvenient.
