    Near the European Commission

    rating08 Jan 2026

It's a few minites from the building of the European Commission and for me was graet because I was at the city due to a bussiness staff. The rooms were clean, breakfast was queit good and the service was polite.

    Not good enough.

    rating17 May 2025

We try and have a few days away in a European city with the same friends every year, this year our stay was here.Room was very basic, back of the hotel overlooking the back gardens of the houses in the street behind. There was scaffolding up. Room was tiny, battleship grey, miniscule bathroom (bathtub with a shower curtain!), not really much storage. Air conditioning didn't really do much.We had several issues with not being able to close the room door. One of the lifts was out of action and the other was frequently out of action.Breakfast (on the one day we used it) was ok, but at 22€ was a bit of a rip off.Won't be back. Valerio Pera, Service clients/Réception at Martin's Brussels EU, responded to this review Dear PaulAnthony, thanks for your feedback. We're sorry that the experience wasn't worth the expectations. Next time, if you don't like your room, don't hesitate to contact the reception: if possible we'll change it in the blink of an eye! My apologies for the elevator: we're changing both of them to give our guest 2 brand new shiny ones! Best regards - Valerio Pera - Operations Manager

Poor security & lazy customer service

    rating16 Apr 2025

There’s an issue with the electronic door locking system in the rooms. When I returned to my room in the evening the door was unlocked. I could not get it to lock after I went in. The alarm kept going off randomly. The guy on reception was extremely casual and unconcerned that the door was faulty. I insisted he move me to a room with a lock that worked, a woman on her own. He went back to reception, leaving me in the corridor waiting for him to come back with a card for a room across the hall. After more than 15 mins when he still hadn’t come back I went down to reception where he was selling merch!! Even though there was another person on reception who could have done that! He had no sense of urgency or recognition of the importance that guests feel safe. It was late at night, he was so disrespectful and rude to not attend to the customer who was waiting, on her own, after requesting the minimum. He said the new room was an upgrade. I said the only upgrade I need is a door that locks! It was not an upgrade & who cares about that when you’re travelling for business. Safety the priority. I will not stay here again on any of my regular trips to Brussels. Valerio Pera, Service clients/Réception at Martin's Brussels EU, responded to this review Dear Leonie, thanks for your feedback. We're sorry for the issues you've experienced during your stay. Unfortunately those are technical troubles that can occur, but I'm glad our receptionist managed to give you another (and better!) room. I will personally investigate on how it is possible that it took all this time to react to your request. Best regards - Valerio Pera - Operations Manager

    Our conference experience

    rating29 May 2024

Having organised many trade shows and conferences over too many years, we have first-hand experience of what is needed to deliver a first-class event. It is teamwork, not just in front of house, but from everyone pulling together. The Martin’s team certainly did that. But we must commend the service of Laurent and Jeremy, who were always professional and provided excellent service. Valerio Pera, Guest Services / Front Office at Martin's Brussels EU, responded to this review Thank you for your feedback! All Martin's Brussels team would love to welcome you back as soon as possible! Best regards - Valerio Pera
