  An interesting place - there is always something to be seen !

  The room was clean and warm.The staff is very friendly. The location is great - really close to Zuid-Midi station (Eurostar). and at a walking distance from the city centre. MiThe hotel has a beautiful lounge with a vending machine and a kitchen at the lobby.At sunday mornings there is a huge market just in front of the hotel - enjoy it !

  'Temporarily closed'

  We booked this hotel due to its proximity to the station and supposed good value for money. We turned up on our check-in day at 4pm to find the doors locked, with a sign only saying that the hotel was 'temporarily closed'. My partner and I waited outside the hotel for 30 minutes, feeling very exposed in an unfamiliar area. After over an hour of waiting and calling with no reply or information about whether the hotel would ever reopen, we gave up and booked another hotel in the centre.I would not recommend anyone book this hotel- I agree with other reviews in that it is not worth paying to stay here. There are many hotels in the city centre which are similar in price and would not leave you standing outside hopelessly for over an hour.

  With my last minute decision to stay near the Buxelles Midi Station, I was forced to book at hotel midi station because other hotels within walking distance from the Midi Station are fully booked and/or just backpacker's hotels.The hotel is relatively cheaper than nearby hotels, but I don't think it's value for money at all. Firstly the room the hotel, while near the station are located in a very shady part of the neighbourhood. gangster-looking men loiter along the hotel's entrance. One of them even followed me to the lobby, while aggressively coaxing me to try their bar juxtaposed the hotel. That's probably why hotel door is shut closed and is opened remotely from the front desk .The hotel's only way up to the room is a very narrow (and crooked) carpeted, poorly-lit staircase. If you're bring large luggage like I did, It'll be several trip up to bring your stuff up. They don't have a bellboy to assist you and the solitary front desk staff won't even offer to help because he needs to attend to the door and other guests. I couldn't begin to imagine how the other guests manage to bring their stuff up especially on higher floors, especially with narrow corridors, which are equally poorly lit.Breakfast is served at their other hotel (Midi-Zuid), which is 200 meters aways from the hotel. They do have a common kitchen should you wish to cook/or heat up your own meal. The only redeeming value of the hotel is it's proximity to the station and convenient stores and restaurants. It's also walking distance to the grand palace.

  Super affordable place to sleeeeep

  This is just a minutes from Station Midi and near the metro, and near the city center.The place is simple and practical. The bed was quite alright and hygiene was proper.I have been to other places in Brussels, but this is really ideal if you are low on budget and want to explore the city. Also very good if you need to spend the night in Brussels, to get the next fast train from Brussels.

  The hotel is reasonably priced. The location is very central. The hotel is great value. The staff are very helpful and pleasant.It can be hard to spot when you leave the station. It is near Avenue Stalingrad.
