  Unfortunately the room was terrible, not fresh at all and you could hear everything from the corridor.   Was perfect for a short trip to Brussel

  This was not my first time staying at an NH hotel, and once again it was a very positive experience. The location was perfect, making it easy to get around and explore the area. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, always ready to assist with any questions.The room was comfortable and well-maintained, and the bathroom was a good size, which made everything feel more relaxing. Breakfast was also good — even though I arrived during the last hour, there were still plenty of options available.Overall, it was a great stay and a consistently good experience.   My room was not great for the price I payed.

  I stayed 10s of times in NHs, this must be the worst. Rooms in the website look great, mine was awful. The walls had stains and humidity induced deformation. Ventilation of the bathroom was zero. None. Cleanliness was below standard. My impresión is that I got a room that is awaiting refurbishing... but for 800 euros for three nights, it was extremely disappointing.   Excellent location, but far below 4-star standard

  The main advantage of the NH Brussels Grand Place Arenberg is clearly its very central location, which is excellent for visiting Brussels on foot. The breakfast was also decent, with a good selection and acceptable quality.Unfortunately, the hotel itself is currently far below what should be expected from a 4-star property. The room was in visibly poor condition and badly maintained. In the bathroom, parts of the wooden covering were falling apart, and the sanitary fittings looked heavily worn and outdated. Only one bath towel was provided, with no hand towel or bath mat. During showering, water easily spread into the bathroom.The windows appeared not to have been cleaned for months, possibly longer, which immediately gave a neglected impression. There was also an unpleasant smell in the room. Noise insulation was very poor, making the room much louder than expected and reducing comfort significantly.Even in the entrance area, while the lobby itself looked acceptable at first glance, the cracked glass panel at the entry door reflected the same lack of maintenance seen throughout the hotel.At this point, the hotel urgently needs a full refurbishment. The location remains very good, but in its current condition it does not meet 4-star standards.
