Location

This hotel is located on Rue Royale in central Brussels, beside Brussels' inner ring road and adjacent to the beautiful Botanic Gardens. This central Brussels hotel is just 20 metres away from the nearest underground train station, as well as tram and bus links at Botanique. Guests will find shops and restaurants 500 metres from the hotel and it is 1 km to the Royal Palace and 1.2 km to the Royal Museum of Fine Arts. The nearest rail connection is Gare du Nord, which is also 500 metres away and it is 12 km to Brussels Airport.

Facility

5 junior suites, 4 suites, 1 single room and 296 double rooms are located on 8 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas.     It’s very unusual for a hotel to be better than its online curated content and visuals but this hotel is. The decor is very different not all to my taste but at least it makes you think and be aware you are in different parts of the hotel. Reception was friendly and efficient, nice touch having water and sweets available for guests. I was getting ready to leave the hotel to find a restaurant when I stopped to read the menu of the hotels restaurant it was very good, so I stayed and tried it. Very good choice of food with vegetarian and vegan options. The food was good and the service was friendly and professional. My room was very comfortable great bed and good pressure in the shower. Coffee / tea making facilities and an ironing board. Great hotel, good value , I will be back.

    We had a really nice room with all things necessary. The hotel is in a good connected area but not directly in the city centre of Brussels. The breakfast was great (ecpect the scrambled eggs - please make them out of real eggs).     Sorry to say, but it was not fabulous. But while staying here one night for a business meeting it was sufficient.The room on the front side was very noisy (cars, trams, scooters)The bed was a bit hardThe lobby did not offer a lot of good places to sit down.Breakfast was allright though.Location was reasonable; 20 minute walk to the city centre. Although in the late evenening you fo not want to walk around alone in the near surroundings of the hotel, especially near the station.     the hotel, the staff, the food it was all great!!! however....the STENCH at the entrance and in the lobby. do something about it otherwise more people will choose the location with less comfort and more breathable air.
