Location

The hotel is only 5 min from the airport and 20 min from the vibrant centre of Brussels. The station is only a 5-minute walk away.

Facility

12 junior suites and 172 double rooms are located on 7 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. A cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel offers a number of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. Souvenirs can be purchased at the gift shop. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Other services include room service, an alarm call service and a laundry service.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Some rooms have a balcony or terrace. All rooms are carpeted and have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch and dinner, guests can choose between a buffet, à la carte and a set menu.     Only one night in this hotel for a business stay in Brussels. The staff at the reception but not very efficient (only one person behind de desk). The rooms are a little bit outdated and need a refit. Personally for me the rooms are too dark with not very good lights in the room. The most annoying was that the airconditioning was not working good (the room was around 25 degrees celsius….). The bathroom is spacious and the shower is quite good providing enough warm water. The breakfast buffet is what to expect from a Van der Valk hotel. A lot of choice at the buffet and good coffee.So for a shot business stay it was good for me and the pricing was very competitive (so that made the four star review).

    Nice hotel. Good rooms. Tasteful food. Top floor is really nice with a great view, lots of space, several nice meeting rooms, coffee corner and bar and even small terrace; ideal for business purposes.     I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and considering I have a business trip in Brussels. I had a bag stolen in the hotel and although I did several follow up in front desk and by email I did not have an answer. Also 3 friends were double charged during the event. Please avoid this hotel
