    The Post is a very comfortable hotel installed in the very center of the city of Gent, Belgium. It is a very nice and stylish restoration of the old post office. The service is good, breakfast excellent and the staff is very nice. The only issue is access : - the entrance is somewhat hidden and has no direct access to the reception and one has to carry its luggage upstairs - there is no direct accesss to the hotel by carRooms are very comfortable

    The overall experience was good with a couple drawbacks. The room and staff were lovely but we did feel like the push for upgrades and extras were a little excessive, given the already high price of the rooms. We didn’t get a package with breakfast, and instead chose to eat there one day. We didn’t think about the price, given it was a fairly standard buffet breakfast (although nice). We had already gotten food when we were told it would be 40 euro each. We were absolutely shocked by this and it was not worth that price. We would stay again but would either pre book breakfast at a better rate or skip it all together.
