    Situated a mere 5 min walk from the train station, and a 10/15 walk to the main centre of Ghent. ideal location for the hotel. rooms basic, but exactly what was needed, clean, comfy bed, decent shower. only thing, room was a touch on the warm side, air con didnt really kick in, and the window wouldnt open, but not overly problematic.Staff very friendly, would recommend to anyone who needs a solid base for their explorations

    Great hotel for short stay. Perfect location for those who want to go for run. Next to hotel is very good running track. They have a bar and gym. Good style.

    All good. Parking lot available. In walking distance to the city. Breakfast was yummy and the staff really nice and friendly.

    We’ve stayed in many Ibis hotels, usually the budget size, and this was by far the best one that we have stayed in. Sure, the room was small, and there wasn’t enough storage for our bags (had to leave them on the floor), but the breakfast was excellent (including hot food and healthy options); there’s a gym (5 euros charge); lots of space downstairs for the bar, snooker, soft chairs, and working areas; easy flat walk into town; canal out the back with a 1.25km loop for running; and right next to the train station (Dampoort) and FlixBus stop. The building seems pretty new and consequently everything was squeaky clean.

    Ok stay for an Ibis budget

    With an ibis budget you get what you pay for. For a standard night that ticks the box this is what you need. This also offered a small gym on site and a dining area. Breakfast in my opinion was very basic for the price. And the area was not big enough for the amount of guests. Out check in could have been a little smoother as it was busy so we used the self-checking but that resulted in us having to wait for a member of staff anyway because they had no keys to hand to register. Additional city tax applies.
