Excellent experience. Most spacious room on our 2 weeks in Europe. Location was excellent and highly walkable. Staff was kind and helpful. Fantastic hotel, but poor response from management to unauthorised charge

Fab hotel, location great, bar staff fantastic, food great, rooms great. However, we were promised a refund of 4x breakfasts when we sadly had to cancel one of our party of 8 due to illness, had confirmation on email prior to our arrival and also on reception during our stay to then find out after we left when I chased the refund that the manager had said we couldn’t have a refund. Then to add insult to injury they charged an over payment of £1200 approx after we left the hotel, an unauthorised payment! It took two emails and two phone calls and a raised complaint to get confirmation that they had made a mistake, a “system error” was blamed. If they had sorted it on my first phone call at 10.30 I would have been satisfied but to have to chase it and then only get a reply around 17:30 to say the refund was being “processed” is pretty poor in my eyes and caused a lot of stress.
