    I like staying here. The location is a short walk from the centre of town. The service is professional.The rooms vary a lot depending on which part of the building. Some are modern and large others can be small or have a quirky layout. Breakfast is good but not cheap.

    Excellent, modern hotel in Leuven, terrific for a 2 night stay. Not far from the Oude Market and other Leuven landmarks. Great location for a relaxing visit to Leuven. Breakfast was included in our room rate, and it was fantastic. Room was very quiet, very clean. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Would stay here again if I ever visit Leuven again.

    Located in a very nice old building, this hotel is comfortable and unusual. Nothing standard, historical building atmosphere, friendly staff, quietness, nice breakfast. No luxury but very pleasant place, especially for those wanting to escape from the standardization of the hotel large corporation.

    Every time we are in beautiful Leuven, we stay here. It is quiet and comfortable. The rooms are spacious and clean. Good to see that the hotel is maintaining the quality. It is only 5-10 minutes walk from town centre, 2-3 min from a great bakery and short taxi drive from train station.

    Best place to stay in Leuven

    In this five week trip we stayed in 21 hotels in 21 different places, and along with the Hotel Des Indes in Den Hague and Fährhaus in Koblenz, this was our favorite. As the name implies it’s in what was once a convent built originally some 500 years ago to house Charles V’s secretary. Needless to say it has gone through a massive transformation into a luxury, boutique hotel. Our suite, #109, had a large bedroom with large windows on opposite sides, a modern version of a four poster bed and a comfy sitting area. The bathroom was also large. Everything about it was great and we would certainly stay there again. The breakfast buffet was very good and the staff were friendly and efficient.
