A Beautiful Home Away from Home in Leuven

From the moment I arrived at Martin’s Klooster, I had such a wonderful experience. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, with so much charm and character, and my room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully appointed.What really made my stay special, though, was the staff. Everyone I encountered was incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming, and they made me feel at home throughout my visit.The location could not have been better. I was able to walk almost everywhere I wanted to go in Leuven, while still enjoying the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere of the hotel when I returned at the end of the day.From the beautiful surroundings and wonderful room to the exceptional hospitality, my stay at Martin’s Klooster was an incredible experience. It was the perfect place to stay for my first visit to Leuven, and I would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Great service after a challenging first night

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. Unfortunately, our first night wasn't very comfortable because none of the three rooms we were assigned had functioning air conditioning, and we happened to be visiting during a summer heat wave. When we called the front desk, we were told that the hotel was fully booked, so it wasn't possible to switch rooms that night. The receptionist offered to look for fans when she had a chance, but unfortunately, we never received them.Thankfully, our experience improved significantly the next day. The reception staff on duty were incredibly helpful. They assisted us in switching rooms, personally checked the new rooms with us to ensure the air conditioning was working properly, and provided excellent recommendations for exploring the local area. While the first night was challenging, we appreciated how professionally and attentively the daytime staff handled the situation.

I like staying here. The location is a short walk from the centre of town. The service is professional.The rooms vary a lot depending on which part of the building. Some are modern and large others can be small or have a quirky layout. Breakfast is good but not cheap.

Excellent, modern hotel in Leuven, terrific for a 2 night stay. Not far from the Oude Market and other Leuven landmarks. Great location for a relaxing visit to Leuven. Breakfast was included in our room rate, and it was fantastic. Room was very quiet, very clean. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Would stay here again if I ever visit Leuven again.

Quiet and pleasant hotel in an old building

Located in a very nice old building, this hotel is comfortable and unusual. Nothing standard, historical building atmosphere, friendly staff, quietness, nice breakfast. No luxury but very pleasant place, especially for those wanting to escape from the standardization of the hotel large corporation.
