Location

This attractive, hotel is situated directly on the banks of the River Meuse, only a few minutes walk from the impressive old town and the countless shops and leisure venues situated there. Brussels's airport is about 100 km away (a 1-hour drive).

Facility

149 rooms, including 2 suites, 10 single rooms and 135 double rooms, are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities available at the hotel include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park.     Blooma Hotel Liège is a clean and tidy hotel, and the rooms are comfortable. However, the breakfast experience was quite disappointing and needs improvement. The selection was extremely limited—mostly just eggs and bread—and there was little to no variety.     Clean and tidy, friendly staff and good food

    We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights whilst on a coach trip from UK. The hotel seemed clean and tidy and the staff friendly and helpful. We had breakfast in the hotel restaurant and the food was very good other than that the menu for evening meals didn't appeal especially as my wife is vegetarian and it seemed fairly limited in choice.Our only complaint would be that the room seemed very hot, even with the window wide open and the (ineffective) aircon on full. It became so warm and stuffy overnight that when my wife got up to use the bathroom she fainted. Fortunately she quickly came round and didn't hit her head or hurt herself and I didn't have to call for assistance but it was a bit of a shock as nothing like that has ever happened before.Overall I think we would be happy to stay again especially when using just as a base.     A GOOD 1-NIGHT STAY IN LIEGE

    Travelling throughout Belgium we started in Liege. Our home base for 1 night was the Mercure. Nice hotel that doesn't reveal it's beauty from its facade, but from the inside. Reasonably priced and well situated, about a 20 minute walk from where the main historical attractions begin in Liege. A little quirk, is getting to the parking of the hotel, but we dropped off our bags by quickly parking in front of the hotel and we got instructions on how to get to the parking. Otherwise a great stay, excellent breakfast spread, and some historical features within the hotel.     Nice Hotel to stay with an excellent restaurant

    Very nice hotel with an excellent restaurant (unfortunately closed on Sunday 😞). The restaurant does not only serve excellent food, but has also a very special architecture worth a visit.The rooms are nice and the staff was very helpful. On the down point is the on-site parking, which can be very tight but still OK.     Enjoyable Hotel in Center City

    Good solid hotel in downtown Liege although area around hotel is not charming. Room was showing some age but it looked like the hotel was updating rooms by floor (3rd floor was closed). Restaurant and bar in an attached, old monastery added a really nice touch to the hotel and the buffet breakfast was excellent. A very nice property.
