    I had a reservation at the Campanile Hotel, but my company suddenly canceled my business commitment at the last minute. This is when my problems started. My bank account showed the amount for the four-night stay was blocked. My company's travel agency could not contact Booking.com directly to request a refund. I tried contacting Booking.com myself, but I was unsuccessful and felt lost. Finally, I got in touch with the Campanile Hotel, and the lady at the reception was extremely helpful. She contacted Booking.com on my behalf, explained the situation, and requested a full refund for my stay.She solved the issue and went above and beyond.The Campanile hotel staff definitely makes the difference!Thank you and see you next time!Marco

    On the positive side this hotel is very close to the E40, has a comfortable bed and was amazingly warm given that the room door led straight outside. Good to park the car so close to the room and it was also a nice surprise to find that the room rate included a basic breakfast buffet too. However my room only had net curtains and with some kind of street light outside it was not dark. Even as a heavy sleeper this was a challenge. However basic an hotel room is there are always curtains!

    .I was going to do some IT job in Mont Legia on the 9th of November 2022.I reserved a room on the 8th in this Campanile because it’s is in the vicinity of Mont legia.When I arrived on site the 8th November at 8 in the evening , I was summoned in the most unfriendly way by the gentleman at the desk to pay before I got the keys.“Because nowadays before are less trustworthy and some time leave without paying ”;I have been in dozens of Campanile but never had such a bad experience.I was like god, did you realize that you have my Visa card in your database?Up on seeing op the gentleman insisting, I politely asked to cancel my reservation.Then he said there is going to be some penalty to be paid with your visa.I said bravoo.Nice to know you have access to my visa; feel free to do it but I am going to spend my evening writing some reviews.I am now at the Ibis in Liege- Guillemins, very nice looking place;Some people truly have no business facing customers.

    A low budget hotel for a good nights rest before a day of exploring

    We stayed here in liege for the Belgian Grand Prix. I was away at the track most days and did not spend much time in the main hotel area except for breakfast and the occasional drink in the evening. The hotel was located in the outskirts of liege next to a major road about a 30 minute walk from the main train station or approximately at €10 taxi. being in room 33 which is the closest to the road I had no issues with getting to sleep. If your a light sleeper a pair of noise cancelling ear buds would be a good fix.The room was moderately sized and featured everything I would need. The only thing possibly missing was a mini fridge to keep things cool. The dining area was a little bland. They offered a buffet style European breakfast with fresh fruit, breads and yogurts.The bar was sparse but for a small hotel it was more than enough. They offered a selection of Belgian beer on draft and bottle along with a standard spirit selection.The staff were friendly even if some had poor English. They were able to organise taxis to and from the hotel when I arrived and later when checking out.

    Staff seemed a bit disorganised. Key card didn't work, had to get staff member to open door each time.Walls very thin, could hear noisy neighbours and plumbing.Only one of the 2 bathroom lights workedBreakfast was OK, but buffet somewhat depleted by the time we arrived.
