This charming hotel enjoys an ideal location at the heart of Liège. The historical district is just a few minutes walk away and features a diversity of shopping and entertainment venues. A stop for public transport is situated directly in front of the hotel.

Facility

Junior suites, 2 suites, 41 single rooms and 62 double rooms are available to guests in a 5-storey main building and a 5-storey auxiliary building. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas.     This place seems determined to have as few staff on duty as possible, probably to limit the cost of wages. One uses a pad at the bar to check oneself in and the same pad to checkout. When our TV sets did not work, we had to wait an hour for help and then the one staff person had to abandon the front desk. The windows barely open, and the sun beats down on the front of the building, so the rooms heat up. The air conditioning barely functions, so Lord help you on a hot day. They have messages in the elevator that give you the impression that you are living an alternative life style, but ye gods, this is just a hotel chain. Not a great experience.     Staff were friendly and helpful with advice and recommendations. Lobby was hipster trendy with bar, pool tables, etc. Room was clean and sufficient but lacking design. Amenities include hand soap, shampoo and body wash. NO lotion or conditioner provided.     The hotel is quite nice. The ground floor is made in a way, that it feels like seperate living rooms. The hotel is fully designed in a bit of industrial vintage. It has high potential, but in the end did not fully impress me. During my stay, there were travel groups checking in and out. It took long to check in. In the room I was spending ten minutes to find the right light adjustments with the industrial buttons. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was good as well. (walk in shower) Really disturbing was the self activating AC during the night. All nights it wake me up. Breakfast was really great in terms of choices, but if I need to share a table with foreign people due to lack of space, this is not what I need in the morning. Cocktails are not the cheapest and not the best, I tried Spritz and Daiquiri. So there were better options in the center. Hotel has a deal with the Central Carpark (be aware, it is NOT the one next to the hotel) and it is actually a bit of an effort to walk the 200m through the whole construction work area with your luggage towards the hotel. So to sum it up, huge potential, but somehow it didn't click. PD: Dogs are allowed in this hotel. Fee applies per 5 days stay.     Very good location with the cathedral near and a lot of restaurants and pubs in the are. The rooms are big enough. The fitness room is ok but I would suggest to improve with more equipment. Breakfast is ok. Parking is 200 m by walk, what is long distance if you carry heavy baggage.
