hotel was ok - but wouldn't go back again, given the choice

We stayed at this hotel on our way back from Germany. The hotel snacks were very good - expensive but good. Drinks seemed on the expensive side and it seemed a bit in the middle of nowhere. The jacuzzi was nice, but quite slippy. The rooms were good as was the fitness suite. Breakfast had a variety of elements to it but no staff around at breakfast to ask for a glass of water or anything else.... Porteridge - despite promised was none existent. We received a bongo and I had seen this hotel as the only one where we'd get unlimited access to spa and 2 nights. There was an issue with the reservation and they were really helpful to mediate with Bongo.In the end we managed to file the reservation.It is a great team very dedicated and caring. We were very warmly welcomed and received a drink at the bar, a nice atmosphere. As it was late already, they indicated a list of restaurants close by, ranging from a walking distance to a few km away. We went to an Italian restaurant close to SHAPE (Also a very friendly service).The next morning, we had an excellent breakfast, once again with very friendly attendance. Then we did some sight-seeing around (Seneffe Castle, the boat-lift...) in the early evening we enjoyed unlimited access to the Wellness.This time we went to the center of Mons for diner and party.The next day, we had breakfast again and left. There is enough variety for the breakfast so you have different things every day.One thing to notice, as well, is that there was a bus of tourists arriving at 11pm. I know it only because they informed us upfront. We were not at all disturbed by noise or anything. You can barely ear the neighbors actually.The rooms are well designed, balanced and clean. The shower isn't very big, but it is recent and well maintained. There is a kettle and some products at your disposal. With the heat, it was also a big relief that there is a water dispenser that generates sparkling water where you can fill your own bottle, or some bottles that are at you disposal and you can take to your room.I can only recommend the place! Good Location with Many Good Features

Nice quiet hotel on outskirts of Mons. The hotel sits off the road with a green area behind it. Our room was showing a bit of age but it was clean, had a fridge and coffee maker. The bar area is small and the food options are quite limited. There is, however, an excellent French restaurant at the front of the property (on the road). Also on the property are an EV charging station and a well lighted ATM machine area. One additional plus is a water machine offering still and sparking water with large bottles to take to your room. Breakfast was quite good, especially the crisp bacon.
