  Spectacular experience at Grand Caribe! Hener is Superman

  Hener is the bartender at the Grand Caribe pool bar. He makes terrific cocktails and is very friendly. However, he went beyond any expectation I would ever have. My iPhone got submerged in the pool and stop working. He took it for me and found some one on the island to fix it. He personally delivered back to my condo that evening and the iPhone works!!!I am extremely grateful and cannot believe how great the service at Grand Caribe is!!!!It’s my absolute favorite place in Belize!Great people, great food (Rain is a terrific restaurant) and spectacular service! Thanks Hener and thank you Grand Caribe.

  Great family vacation spot

  We just spent a week in San Pedro Belize staying at the Grand Caribe (Aug 2026). Our whole week was amazing. All the staff treated is fantastic and made us feel welcome at every moment. We basically had the whole place to ourselves as August is a slow tourism time for Belize. Our stay included breakfast every day. We took part of that almost every day in the swim up bar. The people working the pool bar (Rollie, Aaron, Brian and Gael) were awesome and talked to us when we engaged with them. They were very personal and it was great to get to know them. Our room was cleaned everyday and the staff would do laundry everyday as well. Because of this you do not need to bring many clothes. Only complaint we would have was the sargassum washing up on shore and floating in the water. The ground crew worked everyday to clean it from the beach but it must have been the time of year because it was a ton. Not a complaint to Grand Caribe, just something to note. We just had more time in the pool- not a big deal. We utilized the kayaks and went out to the reef to snorkel. That was a good benefit to be able to do. The reef was about 4 feet deep where we moored up. We rented a golf cart onsite for the whole week which allowed us to go wherever whenever we wanted. We had a full tank of gas at the beginning of the week and had no issue with needing more. We drove to secret beach twice, downtown at least 6 times and then various runs to the grocery store in order to cook in our unit (check expiration dates on everything!). Recapping- we had a great time staying at Grand Caribe for our family vacation and would recommend this place for anyone looking to have an amazing place to stay for a relaxing vacation.   Amazing Resort and Service

  Came for a girls trip and stayed in a 3br/3ba unit with a large balcony which overlooked the pools and beach. The unit was large, well-stocked with excellent accommodations. We started every day sitting on the balcony to drink coffee and plan our day. The entire property from inside to outside is clean and well maintained. The experience starts before you even arrive with concierge services reaching out to provide assistance. Lucita helped arrange birthday decorations and a gluten free cake. Emir picked us up at the airport and proceeded to point out the island along with several recommendations for dining and experiences- we tried many and all were excellent. Everyone from front desk staff to servers to housekeepers went out of their way to greet you and make you feel well cared for. The main pool has a swim up bar and we had lots of fun trying many of the tropical drinks and visiting with the bartenders, especially Vinnie who was very friendly and patient as we tried several types of blender drinks. It's super convenient to rent a golf cart and book excursions at the concierge desk. They do offer excursions that pick you up right at the dock so you don't need to drive anywhere. I was very impressed by how much work the staff take to clean up the sargassum on the beach every morning. We were there at a time when sargassum is high throughout all of the island but noticed that Grand Caribe puts huge efforts into controlling the impact on the beach. Overall this was an amazing resort and experience.
