  Short Stay in Sarajevo: Courtyard Marriott Review

  Courtyard by Marriott in Sarajevo is located next to Miljacla river within a 10-15 min walk from the old town. We spent 3 nights at the property on a visit to Sarajevo. The hotel is standard contemporary Courtyard standards and there are no surprises. It is well maintained and practical for first time visitors. We were unsure about taxis and how to get one on arrivals, so the hotel arranged for all airport transfers at a reasonable cost. Breakfast was acceptable and had more than the range of options you’d expect in a typical Courtyard property. Room service was from an international menu and the portion sizes were very generous and tasty.Staff service was prompt and attentive. Strongly recommend to stay here for a moderately priced hotel in Sarajevo within walking distance from the old city.   Amazing staff and amenities

  What an amazing hotel in the heart of Sarajevo. The perfect distance from Bašcaršija (not too close or too far). The entire hotel is clean and modern with all of the amenities. They have a private parking garage (for a fee), rooms are equipped with iron and ironing boards as well as coffee machines. Beds are comfortable (surprising considering the hard beds in other Bosnian hotels). The service was also outstanding and the staff were lovely. Truly one of the highlights of my trip to Sarajevo!   Booked the hotel in Jan 26 for stay in Aug 26.The booking team kindly accommodated my request for 2 rooms near each other as we were a family of 5 . Location is great , about 15min from the Old Town , and is right next to the river . Checking in was smooth . Kindly assisted by Nudzjema - who was extremely helpful after a long journey . Thankyou. The rooms were on the 7th floor . Great size with all the amenities needed . Very quiet at night . Bathrooms . Housekeeping was brilliant - chap called Samir- was very helpful. Nothing was any trouble for him . The bathroom is spatious. Beware only showers , and no baths. Breakfast was fantastic- other reviews were not so positive. But for the price point- we felt it was good value , with multiple options. Coffee was lively . Albinko from the restaurant was delightful, always smiling and courteous. Well done !! A great start to the day. Overall one of the best Courtyards I’ve stayed in . The staff is what makes this hotel ! I’ve had nothing negative to report. Definitely suitable for families.I am hoping to return again in the future . Praise to the manger to clearly leads a fantastic team !   Noisy and inconsiderate

  The hotel was most inconsiderate. We had to leave at 6:00 am and had asked for a quiet room. When we got there, they couldn’t find our reservation due to a mix- up. They finally found a room on the sixth floor. We had a good dinner there and went to bed early. However, the club/bar above us was having a party with pounding, loud amps and a drumbeat that kept up until after midnight. I called reception twice to ask if the party could turn down the amps just a bit. I was told it was a special event but they would ask. Nothing changed. I called later on and got the same response. As we checked out, I mentioned how hard the night had been and was told it was the hotel itself celebrating its eleventh anniversary. I find it totally inconsiderate to its paying guests to keep the floor below the party up so late. I do not recommend this hotel.
