Stayed one week in this great hotel. Even before our arrival, we experience the warm, accommodating and friendly hospitality of the staff. They made our visit! Special thank you to Betty, Winnie and Bafana. Winnie coordinated our 5 excellent excursions and Betty, Bafana, the chefs and other wait staff went above and beyond to accommodate my partner’s diet limitations as well as provided excellent service. The location of the hotel is excellent. Close to a lot of attractions and activities. We especially enjoyed watching the sunset from the observatory while also trying to spot wildlife in Chobe National Park. We highly recommend this hotel!

A good base in Kasane

We stayed here 2 years ago and again this year. We were doing an extended road trip over 2 weeks and Kasane was where we took a 3-night break midway. Travelodge is perfect for this as it is very well priced compared to other accommodations in Kasane.It is huge with many room options but it's not a high rise, everything is on ground level. The property itself is big and spacious. A large swimming pool with a lot of space around it. Rooms are a good size, bathroom maybe a bit small, but manageable.It might give off a bit of a corporate/conference vibe, but not too much. It's neat and tidy, staff are very friendly, super helpful and knowledgeable. There is a restaurant and meal options are varied, and the menu is quite big. Just remember if you are staying for a few days, they might run out of certain meal/drink options as they are obviously dependant on when deliveries arrive. Having said that, they ran out of tonic water on the 2nd day of our stay, and their delivery was going to take a day or two, so the manager graciously sent one of their staff into town to get some more.Wine list and drink options can get limited, and they can run out if you stay for a few days, depending on their deliveries.The front desk is very helpful and accommodating and eager to help with any bookings or excursions you might want to do.

We stayed for one night.bthe room was really comfy and quiet. The food was excellent. The pool area looked lovely. Loved the mongoose busying themselves in the gardens. Lovely friendly staff.

It was our second time staying at the hotel . It’s so addictive ! . We had a great room with great hygiene . I loved their beds really comfortable and big . The hygiene was exceptional and the house keepers did their work diligently . Every staff member at the restaurant were helpful and treated us like queens with the upmost respect , great customer services . Compliments to the chefs as they was clearly experienced in what they were doing . I would like to take this time in appreciating (Loveness) , who organised all our tours I sincerely want to thank the General Manager ( Todd) who went out of his way to make sure our stay was great , I personally believe he is a great asset to the company ! Thanks Todd , such a great leader in running a big establishment like that , good luck ! Anyone thinking of booking don’t hetsitat to book travel lodge kasane , a great time is waiting for you !

Good hotel. I booked it based on the great experience that I had in Travelodge in Gabarone. The room was good, except the safe was not working since they had not put batteries in it. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The gym was rudimentary and had a ton of insects in it at night time, so basically I could not use it. I would give this hotel a solid 4/5.
