  Avani a nice resort style hotel in the heart of Gabs

  I've stayed in a few hotels in Gabs over the years as new ones pop up but the Avani is he best, good value, clean, modern rooms, decent food and a nice poolside bar. The addition of padel tennis onsight is also great. breakfast buffet is good. poolside lunch are good with a proper wood fired pizza oven. There a a few very good restaurants a short drive away......best of all is a short walk the the Golf course behind.   My stay at Avan hotel, Gaborone was one of most fascinating experience of my life time. Arriving from Sir Khama International airport, we came in a company of the Shuttle driver who warmly welcomed us onboard and started narrating to the crew how beautiful the country Botswana was. Shown us some nice buildings in the heart of Gaborone, eg Diamond Company.
