Our stay was excellent! All the staff were incredibly attentive, always making us feel right at home. The Royal Suite is wonderful – very spacious, cozy, and comfortable. The jacuzzi is a perfect way to relax even more, and the view of the lagoon is an amazing bonus. The breakfast is simply spectacular... out of this world! We've had breakfast in many places around the world, and we can confidently say this was one of the most complete and delicious. It brings guests closer to the best of the local cuisine, with great care and quality.Congratulations to the entire team! Atenciosamente,Sumaia CarvalhoGerente Geral

One star hotel

I think these reviews on Expedia site are highly misleading. This hotel is rated 8.6. I have no idea how can this be 8.6. I wonder if this hole in the wall with tiny rooms, old dirty miniature bathrooms is 8.6 what would a hotel with rating 6 would be. Or it is just that most of 3 star hotels in Brazil are poor quality choices. Gerência Ramada Lagoa Santa, General Manager at Transamerica Lagoa Santa, responded to this review Dear,Thank you for staying with us and dedicating part of your time to this evaluation, for us it is always very important.I apologize for not meeting your expectations.Always available,Leticia TorresManager

Clean but average
28 Apr 2020
Rooms are clean but we had to ask for extra piles since what was offered was extremely thin. Evening reception staff very helpful and polite. Breakfast option quite vast but a bit disappointed with next day check out staff which seemed to make our check too complicated and lengthy. We have not consumed any drinks from our room and even though coming with plenty of time for check out due to be aware of our flight, it took us quite a long time to leave the hotel due to that.. Evening meal was really tasty, although quite pricy. Hotel staff seems not to recomend surroudning food business much and did not offer positive feedback about that. It could be true or staff pressured to have guests eating at their own restaurant, which is what we did. Who knows...! ramadalagoasanta, Gerente de recepção at Transamerica Lagoa Santa, responded to this review Dear Mr(s) CG1236Thank you very much for your review! We are so glad to know that you had a pleasant experience during your stay and liked our rooms and breakfast. About the check out that took so long, we are so sorry about that and I will check what happened, so that our staff can be more prepared for that kind of problem. And concerning the restaurant, since we have one here at the hotel, our staff is recommended only to offer ours as a option, but at the front desk you can get more information about other restaurants, but anyways, we are sorry for any inconvinience that might have caused.. We hope to see you again as soon as possibleBest regardsMarcella MattioliFront desk Manager
