The Perfect End to Our Brazil Journey

We spent the last three nights of our 3.5-week trip through Brazil in Búzios, and it was the perfect way to end our journey.We had a wonderful stay, enjoying plenty of peace and relaxation, excellent service, and delicious breakfasts and dinners. A big thank you to Jorge, Sancio, Felipe, and the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable.A special thank you goes to Erick, who was always available and incredibly helpful. He organized a buggy for us, which allowed us to explore Búzios at our own pace, as well as our transfer back to GIG Airport with a very good and reliable driver.Thank you all for making the final days of our Brazil trip so special. Beautiful boutique hotel with exceptional staff

We had a wonderful stay at Pedra da Laguna and enjoyed it so much that we actually extended our holiday, even though it meant losing prepaid nights at our hotel in Rio. That says everything about how much we enjoyed being here.The hotel itself is beautiful, with lovely gardens, a peaceful atmosphere and a really relaxing pool area. It’s the perfect place to unwind after travelling.What really made the stay stand out was the staff. Every member of the team was warm, welcoming and genuinely attentive. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and they made us feel valued throughout our stay.Breakfast was good, and the overall ambience of the hotel is calm, stylish and ideal for couples looking for a quieter escape.The reason I’ve given 4 rather than 5 stars is that there are just a few small areas where the hotel could be refined to match the outstanding service. None of these issues affected our enjoyment, but they stopped it from being quite perfect.Overall, we’d happily stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pedra da Laguna to anyone visiting Búzios. Amazing stay! The hotel was clean and beautiful, with a very attentive and welcoming staff. Flavio, the manager, is outstanding and will help you with anything you need.The buffet breakfast was excellent, offering eggs, cheeses, pastries, fresh fruits, and juices. Since we attended a business event, we also enjoyed the buffet lunch — it felt like dining in a high-end restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious.The bar service was fantastic (and those caipirinhas in the evening — wow!). The location is perfect: just a 5-minute walk to Ferradura Beach and about 15 minutes to Praia da Foca, with gorgeous views along the way.I will definitely be back!
