It was a very nice stay, its calm and ideal for a secluded get away. The balcony hammock was the best for relaxing at evenings

Great experience.

Everything was nice and clean. Nice service from the friendly staff. Really good breakfast with many options. Location is ok, but it is probably 10 minutes walk from the center, no problem at all if you have a car available. All in all we were very happy with our stay at Vila Pitanga, and we would be happy to come back another time. Lucas Hernan P, Proprietário at Pousada Vila Pitanga, responded to this review Hello! We´re very glad to receive this kind of feedback... would be a pleasure to receive you again in Vila Pitanga. We really thank you for your comments :)Best regards,Lucas

Highly Overrated
27 Feb 2016
We couldn't believe that this place had a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence. There were ants and other insects in the room (and a bottle of pesticide for your convenience). Breakfast was not replenished as items ran out. One day the eggs were dried out, one day there were none left, and one day they were cold. There were tiny ants and fruit flies by the food. Dirty dishes wouldn't be cleared until the end of breakfast. The staff spoke little English, and the nighttime staff spoke barely any English at all. Yes, the place looks charming, but in a town full of accommodations, I'm shocked this place is so well regarded. Lucas Hernan P, Proprietário at Pousada Vila Pitanga, responded to this review Good morning,We apologize for the bad experience. Luckily the 97,75 % had related good or excellent experiences in our Pousada, but of course we can have bad days. Thank you for your comments.Bets regards,Lucas P.

July 15 Buzios trip

If you're looking for a small hotel, in a great location, only 10 minutes from Rua de Pedras or centro, a short walk from Feradura beach then you can not go wrong with Vila Pitanga. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is simple but good. The price is good value for money. This was my second stay here and will be coming back. It is also very relaxing. The only negative would be the buggy hire company they recommended. The beach buggy wasn't the best and I wouldn't use that hire company again. Lucas Hernan P, Proprietário at Pousada Vila Pitanga, responded to this review Hello,We really thank you for your coments... it´s really good to hear such a good feedback as yours. We hope to see you again in Pousada Vila PItanga!Best regards!Lucas
