Great vacation! The hotel is big and lively! Great pools but it was a bit crowded. The breakfast is good but again, crowded. The rooms are excellent. Ana Paula is amazing, she cleaned and organized our room every day, with kindness and efficiency.

A stay in Gramado a Disney like wonderland.

The Wyndham Gramado is a modern hotel of high standard yet gives the feeling of family friendliness. There were lots of families staying and the staff and guests were extremely helpful. The swimming and leisure facilities are relaxing with the thermal spring water at bath temperature. Breakfast time in the busy dining room with buffet including lots of local dishes is great for the uninitiated visitor to Brazil who are willing to try something different. There are a great many local attractions to keep all visitors happy especially at the lead up to Christmas with spectacular light displays including in the hotel decor. One highlight of many was a tour to the wine valley and meeting a lot of different friendly people. For us location, climate and local hospitality made for a memorable joyful experience.

Gramado termas resort, a great family place to enjoy warm pools and great service. The children recreation and staff is super friendly and the entire family enjoyed our stay. Not the first time as we try to return every year. The location is near the city center and they offer shuttle services for free. Highly recommended aqua motion and Snowland. Andrey from the from desk was a great friend.

10000% stay elsewhere. I've/we've traveled all over the world and have never experienced anything quite like this place. Wyndham should be ashamed to have their name attached to this place. I've never seen anything quite like it. From the second we stepped on property to the second we left it was a miss. Rooms were absolutely filthy. Read others reviews alot of the same. We had to have housekeeping come in and clean after we checked in. It was that bad, dirt all over (had kids and the socks and feet were covered in crap/dirt/debris)Stains on the walls that just needed a wipe. They came off once they were poited out. The 2 bedroom suite we got was very very misleading. It's quite tiny. It's about 10 feet wide and 30 ft long. Super narrow and really nowhere to gather as a family. The AC didn't work at all the entire stay. Numerous attempts to make it work all failed with zero resolution to the issue. Overheard a table next to us at breakfast complaining of the same exact issue. I have to say that in all my travels and as someone who has worked in the hospitality industry for over 25 years as an entry level associate and now as a seasoned leader this place needs help and needs help badly. Hospitality is not their strong suit. And being in the hospitality industry it should make you ask yourself why are they missing the mark so badly. So, take this review as you will. If you have standards, this is absolutely not the place for you. We left a day early, and that should tell you everything you need to know.

Okay hotel that could be better and leaves a lot to wish for

This hotel has a lot to offer but the service and the food and beverage area is sub par. Marián at the front desk is the nicest person I met, very helpful and understanding. People at the restaurant and the pool are also very nice. The facilities and the heated pool is very nice. I think it’s the highlight of the hotel. The rooms are standard, clean and small. Not much amenities that one would expect, not even a cup in the bathroom to brush your teeth. Or tissues. Front desk is extremely stiff and unhelpful. I went early to pay my check out bill and was told I had to pay in exact cash. What hotel doesn’t have change for its guests? Marián who checked me in happened to be there and explained to his colleague that I wasn’t Brazilian therefore didn’t pay in credit card. So he reluctantly went and got Change for me. What I don’t understand is why he didn’t do so in the first place. The hotel is a 15 mins drive from the city center. I would stay elsewhere if it were up to me.
