This hotel was okay. The room was a decent size. The pool was unusable when we visited, it was full of leaves. Breakfast wasn't great, most of the food was dry. It's a decent location but I wish we had chosen a better hotel. Language barrier made it very difficult & frustrating. The Viale is a spectacular hotel with nice spacious and clean rooms. The breakfast and dinners were above my expectations and the desserts were better than most restaurants. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly especially Enzo who I talked with every day I was there. I would definitely make this stay here again and highly recommend it for anyone staying in the area. I give it 5 stars out of 5 stars. Comfortable rooms, bathrooms and little tired. Lovely pool area / bar. Games room was a hit with the kids. Breakfast is extensive and a tapioca pancakes made to order - sweet or savoury. We ate in the indoor bar area and food was good. Otherwise its the more formal buffet option. Bit of noise from busy main road but might be quieter in rooms at the back. Its 10 min walk to a mall with more choice that is open until 9pm so we spent a bit of time there. Ideal location for the falls. One of the worst hotel booking experiences I have ever had.

I booked several rooms through Booking.com for a small group trip, and my reservation was confirmed under a Free Cancellation rate. Despite this, the hotel charged my credit card even though no prepayment was required according to the booking conditions.When I questioned the unauthorized charge, instead of resolving the issue professionally, the hotel cancelled my reservation. As this was a group booking, their actions forced me to reorganize accommodations at the last minute, creating unnecessary stress and disrupting our travel plans.Communication was extremely poor. The hotel stopped responding to my emails, and their replies through Booking.com were inconsistent. Meanwhile, the payment had already been deducted from my bank account, and I have the bank transaction details as proof.I have reported this matter to Booking.com, and the case is currently under investigation.As someone who frequently organizes international group trips, I expect honesty, transparency, and professional customer service. Unfortunately, this hotel failed in all of these aspects.I strongly recommend future guests, especially those traveling with families or groups, to be extremely cautious before booking this hotel.
