We really liked staying in the hotel. I wanted to thank in particular the waiter Márcio who served us with so much affection and receptivity, service of excellence.

The good:The place was nice and the rooms are big enough if you pay for the bigger room. I stayed with my girlfriend and everything was ok. It was clean and the staff was helpful.The bad:They need a better system to track down drinks and expenses, it's so easy for them to put extra stuff if you don't keep track of everything. They charge you for silverware and dishes if you want to eat from semewhere else.

The location was good, but the room was terrible. Old standard and the room looked dirty and disgusting.The air conditioner made so much noise that wee couldn't use it. Wifi in the room didn't work. The breakfast wasn't good rather.. Not happy with this hotel at all.

I stayed here with a group of guys during the World Cup and the hotel was adequate for our needs. The hotel itself was a bit worn and had issues that you would not find in similarly priced hotels in the US or Europe.The negatives: the location is directly across from the ocean -- which is nice -- but the area is not the better part of Natal. Even though we were there during the World Cup, there were very few Americans in the area. I was told that it was not safe to go to the left from the hotel, but to the right was fine. Also, there was no safe in the room. And sadly for my Facebook addicted friends, the WiFi was poor in the rooms (we actually used WiFi from a neighboring hotel).Having said the above, the people both at the hotel and in the area were very friendly and accommodating to us. Even though they were very busy, the front desk staff gave us good advice and helped us arrange our side trips. We enjoyed the beachside beer and grilled meat stands across the street and never felt unsafe, even late at night, and the locals were as friendly as anyone has ever been, helping us with our language skills as well.It worked for us on this sports trip, but I would stay in a different area and hotel if traveling with my family.

The staff is clueless, you literally have to hound them to get stuff done. When I arrived the ac unit and two lights were not working. I asked them twice in the morning and two times in the afternoon to get this taken care of. When I asked about eating at the restaraunt they told me the derive would be slow. my friend waited 2 hours for pasta. Never going back
