    Warning!!!

    rating24 Sept 2026

Extremely disappointing — management promises were repeatedly made and then ignored. Our stay was affected by multiple serious service failures, all of which were raised with management. We were repeatedly assured that our concerns would be addressed and that compensation would be provided. None of those promises have been honoured.Mark Wendt and Fatima Lam were made fully aware of the situation, yet the matter was allowed to drift. Gladwell Ngana has failed to respond or follow up on commitments made to us, while the on-site manager also failed to honour promises made directly to us.We were repeatedly reassured, only to be left chasing the matter ourselves. After numerous broken commitments, we were forced to involve our travel agency in an attempt to get some resolution. This has been an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. The problem was not simply the original service failures — it was the repeated failure of management at different levels to take responsibility and follow through on what they promised.Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this resort. Guests should not have to repeatedly chase management, involve their travel agent and still be left without the resolution they were promised.A resort’s reputation is built not only on the service it provides, but on how it responds when things go wrong. In our case, management failed on both counts Eloi Marques, Revenue management at Samoa Beach Resort, responded to this review Aloha! We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations, and especially that you felt your concerns and requests were not properly followed up on.Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Your comments will be forwarded to the teams responsible so that the situation can be reviewed, particularly regarding the follow-up of requests and communication during your stay.We hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a more positive experience on a future occasion.Mahalo,Caroline - Guest RelationsSamoa Beach Resort

Samoa Beach Resort - heaven on a stick.

    rating22 Aug 2026

Brilliant escape. Great place to relax and get away from it all. The resort needs some maintenance but as it is in transition from being the Sheraton to bring manage by the local community and the Samoa Tourism Authority these little things will get done in time. Great staff being ever so friendly and accommodating at all times. Will definitely be going back to this resort in the future - maybe even sooner than I thought. Fantastic - go see for yourself. Eloi Marques, Revenue management at Samoa Beach Resort, responded to this review Aloha! ??Thank you so much for sharing your experience! ?? We’re delighted to know you enjoyed the resort, our welcoming atmosphere, and the care of our team. We also appreciate your feedback and look forward to welcoming you back soon! ???Mahalo,Caroline – Guest RelationsSamoa Beach Resort

    BAD EXPERIENCE

    rating13 Apr 2026

*1/5 – “Samoa Beach Resort” was the worst part of our Samoa trip*My family and I stayed at Samoa Beach Resort recently and honestly, it was one of the most horrible hotel experiences we've ever had. I don't write reviews lightly, but other families deserve a heads up before they waste money here.*Customer service: rude and inconsistent* From check-in to check-out, the service was terrible. We were told by a staff member named Fred that we could order from the dinner menu for lunch. We did. Then the bill came: $80 tala per plate because it was dinner pricing, not lunch pricing. When we questioned it, a different staff member with a really rude attitude told us that “Fred doesn't know anything.” So which is it? Staff openly contradicted each other and we were left paying for their miscommunication. Being lied to about policies is unacceptable.*More dishonesty about our flight* The worst part: a worker told us our flight was delayed so we didn't need to rush. Something felt off, so we rang Faleolo International Airport ourselves. The airport said check-in was already open and people were boarding. If we had listened to the resort staff we would have missed our flight home. That's not just bad service, that is reckless.*Room and facilities: broken and unhygienic* 1. *Phone lines* were bad. We couldn't get through to reception when we needed to.2. *TV barely worked* the entire stay. Not a huge deal, but when you pay resort prices you expect the basics to function.3. *Housekeeping standards* were bizarre. There were used cups left in the bathroom along with water bottles. Why are drinking cups in the bathroom? And there was no milk for coffee, which again, is basic for any hotel.4. *The pool made my son sick*. Within a day of swimming he was unwell. I can't prove it was the pool chemistry, but he was fine before, swam there, then got sick. That raises serious questions about cleaning and maintenance.*Overall* Between the dishonesty, the billing issues, the broken amenities, and the attitude of some staff, we felt completely disrespected as paying guests. We left feeling ripped off and stressed instead of relaxed.Save your money and your sanity. I cannot recommend Samoa Beach Resort to anyone, especially families. Management needs to seriously train staff, fix the rooms, and take responsibility when things go wrong instead of blaming each other. If you had a different experience, maybe we just got unlucky. But for us, this was the most horriblest hotel stay we've had. Eloi Marques, Revenue management at Samoa Beach Resort, responded to this review Aloha,Thank you for sharing your experience. We sincerely apologize for the issues reported, especially regarding inconsistent service, incorrect billing, miscommunication about your flight, and concerns related to your room and maintenance. This is not the experience we aim to provide.Regarding the pool, we follow strict control standards and will reinforce our checks.Your feedback has been shared with the responsible teams for corrections and improvements. We hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a better experience in the future.Maloha,Caroline – Guest RelationsSamoa Beach Resort

Elizabete, who works at breakfast, Alan, the pool waiter, and the 'clown uncle' (recreation coordinator) are the highlights of this hotel. Luiz at the door, welcoming everybody.Very special people. Eloi Marques, Revenue management at Samoa Beach Resort, responded to this review Aloha, Sir/Madam!We are immensely grateful for your kind feedback. It is a great pleasure to know that the attentiveness and dedication of Elizabete, Alan, the 'tío palhaço,' and Luiz made your experience truly special. We look forward to welcoming you again soon for more memorable moments.Mahalo, Evellayne Lima - Guest Relations Samoa Beach Resort.

    Hotel experience is for family

    rating19 Mar 2026

The hotel is a nice place for family. Not for singles or cuples. I had problems with my first apartament and I asked for a change and then it was nice. The food is very amazing and Jane Cleide (the woman of omelets, eggs and tapioca) was very noce to me. Caroline Nascimento, Atendimento ao cliente/recepção at Samoa Beach Resort, responded to this review Aloha! Thank you very much for sharing your experience with us. We are glad to know that, after the room change, your stay became more pleasant and that you were able to enjoy our gastronomy. We are also happy to hear that Jane Cleide’s service, preparing omelets, eggs, and tapiocas, made a difference in your experience. It will be a pleasure to share your kind words with her.Thank you for your comments, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again for another stay with us.Mahalo,Caroline Fernanda – Guest RelationsSamoa Beach Resort
