109 rooms, including 107 double rooms, are located on 12 storeys and can be reached by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday.     Brilliant location 5 minutes walk from Copacabana beach situated in the heart of Christ and Sugarloaf Mountain. Rooms are basic but clean they have everything needed to use as a base because there is so much to do in the surrounding area we was barely indoors anyway. The noise level is fine and we had no problem sleeping at night. The pool is small but on the few occasions we used it we had it to ourselves so felt very private. It's on the roof top which also gives you a fantastic view and also able to see the birds of pray which was a nice bonus. The gym has all that is needed to keep fitness up whilst away it was cool and clean.The lobby is a nice area to relax before and after trips in/out it gives a nice friendly welcoming atmosphere the staff on duty were always happy to help and the bellboys were a very cute extra I felt like I was in a movie! The breakfast was a great range from fruits, toast, cakes, eggs and various juices. Staff every morning were excellent greeting us like royalty and very helpful. Chef did a great job and it was real value for money staying here.

    This hotel advertised many options it did not provide. As a group of 10 ppl in total they didnt have a socialising area were we could meet before a day ot night out. There is no bar There is no where to purchase water or snacks (there is a few offered in mini bar on day of arrival but not replaced in 6 days ) The pillows were yellow the ceilings were mouldy The air conditioning unit drips continuously onto the window ledge and onto the window making a tapping sound 24 hours a day They pool areas wasn't big enough to entertain the 10 of us as it has 3 loungers only and 2 tables with 6 chairs. The staff were very abrupt and offer any help when brought things to there attention. Broking air conditioning in one room.. blocked toilets.. just answered with. no maintenance . No bar . No laundry. Didn't offer any help as to where we could avail of these services at all . I wouldn't recommend. Definitely no where near 4 star. Awful

    I stayed here for 12 nights just returned. I very much enjoyed my stay at Augustos Rio Copa hotel. Thr room was a good size for myself and travel companion. The staff are delightful especially the breakfast people who create a calm and pleasant atmosphere reception are great and were helpful with us. There are little hiccups but that’s life. The Augusto copa is a great base fromWhich to explore Rio and Copocabana from if I return to Rio de Janerio and I hope I do I will gladly stay at the Augusto Hotel Rio again.

    I recently stayed at the Augusto's Rio Copa Hotel in Rio de Janeiro and would rate the experience as quite okay. The hotel has a perfect location right in the centre and is just a 10 minute walk from the Copacabana beach.The room itself was clean, but the furniture looked a bit dated and could use some updating. One of the main issues during my stay was the internet connection—it was quite unreliable and slow, which made it difficult to get work done or even stream basic content.On the positive side, the bed was very cozy and comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep.If you’re looking for a simple place to stay and don’t rely heavily on Wi-Fi, it might still be a decent option.
